Remarks :

The eligibility for the course BCom is 90% above marks in higher secondary examination or equivalent examination. The application for admission is available on the official website of Kannur University you can apply from through the University website. The current system for the admission process is best at Kannur University so it's sufficient.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My ambition is to start a carrier in commerce professional courses so I preferred BCom as my degree. There are 160 + students in three classes of B.Com and there are 8 teachers for controlling them( among them three are core subjects and the rest of them are for languages). The teaching method of the teachers is very quiet and symbolic and they are anytime to help us. The term exams at Kannur university are a bit difficult but it's easy to pass when you study.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I give about 5000 at the time of admission as Union fee PTA fund, etc. And there are an amount of 500 rupees for sem exams. There are many scholarships to help people who got admission on this basis. Central sector scholarship grantz scholarship and post-matric scholarships are some of them. There are 12000 rupees for the central sector scholarship 5000 rupees for post metric scholarship and e Grantz will cover the hostel fee exam fee, etc.

Campus Life :

There are many fests and celebrations in college. Freshers day in October month and union day in December month and food festival in November and arts day in January are some of them. The college has a huge library and library has a collection of a variety of journals, books, novels, etc. The classrooms in college are well maintained and it's very friendly for studies. The many extra curriculum activities in college sports day, arts day, film fest, and food fest are some of them. NSS, NCC, and film clubs are some of the social groups by students to ensure their participation and cooperation in college activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason why I choose this course was the jobs that it can provide and my interest in accounting. I also want to be a businessman, so it may also have affected the decision I took. The faculty of the college contains about 80 teaching staff and 30 non-teaching staff. There are about 2000-3000 students in the college. Most of the faculty is experienced. Some have experience of more than 25 years. There are also staffs who have acquired PhD in their respective fields. The teaching method is fairly traditional. The time of the term exams is controlled by the University of Calicut and not by the college. The difficulty of the exams is medium

The faculties available in the college were very amazing lecturers and they are very supportive. They encourage students through motivational classes. Exam results were not published soon as this is not the problem of the college, University is the reason for this mistake.
