Remarks :

90% and above marks are required for getting admission for b com in mary matha college mananthavady(merit) The application form is available on kannur university official website and the application form for management and spot admission is available in the college office. The admission process at Kannur university is simple

Course Curriculum Overview :

My aim is to become a chartered accountant. So I preferred b com as for my degree there are about 3 teachers for core subjects and 5 teachers for languages. so there is a ratio of 8 teachers for 150+ students the teachers are highly talented and qualified for term exams that will conduct on time And its a bit difficult to pass

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is an admission fee of 5000+ rupees (union fee metro English course)and 500 rupees for every sem exam. There are many scholarships available for students. If a student is eligible for e grant scholarship. Then he wants to pay just 50 rupees as sem fee

Campus Life :

The fresher's day was the first program of this academic year and it was in October. Union day was in December. The food fest was in November. Arts day was in January. And college day is planned on March 13. College has a big library and it has a collection of a wide variety of books and journals the sports day food fest was one best extracurricular activities Nss Ncc students union, film club, sports club etc are some of the groups run by students

Campus placements are here in this college. On 5 semesters and 6 semesters onwards. Many reputed companies come here every year. Some of them are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Yamaha, etc. But only some of the students are placed through campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason why I choose this course was the jobs that it can provide and my interest in accounting. I also want to be a businessman, so it may also have affected the decision I took. The faculty of the college contains about 80 teaching staff and 30 non-teaching staff. There are about 2000-3000 students in the college. Most of the faculty is experienced. Some have experience of more than 25 years. There are also staffs who have acquired PhD in their respective fields. The teaching method is fairly traditional. The time of the term exams is controlled by the University of Calicut and not by the college. The difficulty of the exams is medium

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculties available in the college were very amazing lecturers and they are very supportive. They encourage students through motivational classes. Exam results were not published soon as this is not the problem of the college, University is the reason for this mistake.
