Remarks :
One Has to qualify BITSAT examination. All details can be found on the official BITS website. Admission can only be made on the basis of merit. There is no reservation. The admissions process is already very straightforward.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of the high package and good placement. The student-faculty ratio is excellent and in specific classrooms, there are teachers teaching even only 5-6 children. All the professors are PhD holders (mostly from IITs) Exams were a bit delayed due to Corona and we're tough to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
Apple, Amazon, Nutanix, Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, Adobe, American Express etc. In this internship, students are provided quite good stipends too by the company (ranging from 45000 to 1 lac rupee per month depending on the company). Tasks depend from company to company
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placement from 4-1 where they might get PPO in PS. 94% on campus placement record and some companies that come are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Deloitte. I plan to go for on-campus placement after getting my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a steep fee hike but fees can be earned back in one to two years so it's fair. Since avg package is high it doesn't feel bad even paying steep fees. I did not/was not eligible for a scholarship or stipend but many students do avail on the basis of merit.
Campus Life :
The annual cultural fest is Pearl, and the annual tech fest is ATMOS, conducted in November and April respectively. All significant publications and popularly authored books are available in the library and in college publications. There is a smart board, recording faculty in all classrooms, and a biometric system for attendance. Everything from the fest to the clubs is run by the students.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms are simple but clean and spacious. The bathroom is shared. Mess food is usually good, especially on weekends when special meals are made. Compared to many private colleges The college and affordability are better.
