Remarks :
There were no entrance exams for the course you just needed to have 50% marks in your class 12th exams. Anything related to the admission process could be accessed using the website of JNU. The admission process was easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I decided BTech in biotechnology was the right course for me due to my interest in the field of research. The Faculty to Student ratio is around 1:20 which is quite good. The faculties are highly qualified with good teaching skills.
Internships Opportunities :
The college helps you to bag internships in various domains. Almost all students bag internships in their final semester with an average stipend of about 5000. The majority of students opt for 6 months of training to be job ready.
Placement Experience :
Students in their 7th semester start receiving updates on the companies visiting the campus. Around 60% of students received offers from companies with an average package of 3.5lpa. I plan to pursue MTech after finishing my degree so that I could be of more use to the industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Fees are quite average compared to other private colleges offering the same course. JNU charges around 110000 for a year in tuition fees. The hike policy is about 5% in 2 years. You get an Early bird scholarship if you pay both semester fees together.
Campus Life :
The college conducts small events on a regular basis with a large-scale cultural fest once a year in the month of October. There are 3 libraries in all on the campus with a total of 2500 books to go around from. The Sports facilities are up to the mark.
Hostel Facilities :
The room is equipped with lights, fans, and a duct system that is turned on during the summer. The menu consists of a wide range of items with food of decent quality. You could register for hostels using the website of JNU
