Remarks :

I joined college by SRM JEE my rank was 2000+. I have opted for computer science and Engineering in the Ramapuram campus because it suits my rank very well. You can find the application details in the SRM portal and pay the application fee and write down the exam on mentioned dates.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen computer science and engineering because it has a good future and will help in my future. The faculty is good and experienced and will help you. Many of our faculty have PhDs in their respective fields and are qualified very well. Exams are conducted once in a month and the semester is conducted once in five months.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

You can get an internship from the first year itself but it is a little difficult to maintain simultaneously so opting for internships in the third year is the best thing. Many big companies approach our college for students' internships.

Placement Experience :

Placements are really good and almost every student gets a decent job at the end of the fourth year. Forty-nine lakhs were the highest package last year and this year placements are taking place. Almost ninety percent of people got placement. My plan after my degree is to settle in the software field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

SRM Ramapuram university is very expensive even though you get into college by SRMJEE. scholarships are also provided for toppers in their respective courses. You should also pay fees for your books, career development fee, and many others.

Campus Life :

Fests related to cultural activities are very less but you can find many club activities. You can check our library which has lots of books. Classrooms are okay but are little small sports are very rare, no extracurricular activities are present.

Sathyabama is one of the best colleges in Chennai. In this college, 90 to 92 percent of students get placed in a year. Many big companies will visit to hire newly graduated students. Faculty: Teachers in our college are mostly Ph.D. holders or pursuing Ph.D. degrees. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful. The passing percentage is 50 % which is quite easy to pass.

The students from the 5th semester are eligible for the placements. Around 12 companies are visiting for the placement and a few of them are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Sutherland they provide more than 20 plus offers the package of each company is more than 30,000 per month. The students should have above 60 percent in 10th and 12th public examinations and they should be without arrears. I plan to get a place in TCS after this degree.
