Remarks :

There was no entrance exam during my admission. All we need to do was to take an admission form from college and after filling in the details you need to submit it. Afterwards, the college will recheck and verify the document and you will get admission on the basis of marks in 12th. But from the academic year, the 2022 CUET exam has been compulsory. All other procedures are still the same.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.sc in mathematics because I was a science student from early age onwards. The teaching faculty is highly educated as it is a central university and the teaching method is also quite good but no modernising method is used. Still, studies has never been a difficult part. Exams were semester based as we have 2 semesters per year and we need to qualify every semester. It was not difficult to pass in exams as we have sectional and main exams separately.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 3000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not much aware of scholarships but I guess scholarships on the basis of government policies are given. Talking about fee structure it is a central university and yes the fees are not a heavy burden. Fees are taken every semester during admission nearly around 1200 and the same during exams every semester. No other charges are taken during it and no sudden hike in fees is observed in previous years

Campus Life :

Our college has one of the best campuses in Uttarakhand as it is situated on the top of the mountain beautifully surrounded by the Beauty of nature. Annually a fest takes place. Books are always available in the library and the campus has a genuinely large library. Also a perfect basketball court and big ground are available for sports purposes. There are no such clubs and all but yes the website for students is hnbgu.ac.in

A short review of HNBGU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in mathematics and I want to become a maths researcher. There will be a total of 350 students in this course, who have to build their future on different paths. The faculty available in this course is good, teachers are friendly, they keep solving every problem and always help the students.Most of the teachers present in the faculty are professors after doing phd and some are still doing research with phd. Here exams are from semester system if you have made notes then you can easily pass semester exam and reading old year papers helps a lot because every year almost 70% questions are same

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester ( In B.Sc(IT)) means from last year that 3rd-year students become eligible for campus placements. Around an average of 4-5 companies visited till as of now and around 16 to 18 offer letters were made. The highest package offered by D.E Shaw which is 21 lakhs p.a and the average package was around 3.6 to 4 lakhs. The role offered was web developer, software tester, etc. till now (5th semester) less than 20% are placed right now. After getting the degree my plan is to get a job and start working and have to do a mca in correspondence.

Graphic era is good for placement and to much students are having in it. It is the top 1st rank college in Uttarakhand

As my personal choice, I choose this course. The faculty is too good in its Cs sector but the students took too many admissions in this college. The faculty list is short in comparison to the students. All the teachers are very good, too many skills are they having. Like sessional exam are come in 1 time and then end term coming.
