Remarks :

When I went to take admission, admission was done on the basis of 12th merit and at that time the eligibility was that 50% marks in 12th is mandatory but now the rule of cuet has come and it is a central university That's why now admission here is done on the basis of entrance test of cuet. Application forms are filled out on the official website of Cuet. Eligibility is for admission in the course According to the CUET and the reservation is also according to the same. Still admission counseling is offline here due to which children from faraway places have problems, counseling and admission process should be online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I have an interest in mathematics and I want to become a maths researcher. There will be a total of 350 students in this course, who have to build their future on different paths. The faculty available in this course is good, teachers are friendly, they keep solving every problem and always help the students.Most of the teachers present in the faculty are professors after doing phd and some are still doing research with phd. Here exams are from semester system if you have made notes then you can easily pass semester exam and reading old year papers helps a lot because every year almost 70% questions are same

Course Fees : INR 1500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here the fees are very less and there is also a discount for poor students. If the student is promising and comes from a poor family, then he also gets a scholarship, here you can study well for a cheap fee, but there is no placement cell in the college, so do not expect a job.

Campus Life :

Every year there is a big function on the birthday of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna ji, apart from this, small seminars, cultural programs, sports and other activities keep on happening. There is a huge library where you will feel like finding yourself alone among many books. Various types of books available. Classrooms are modern, studies and lectures go on in projectors, and clean chairs and benches are installed for all the students. From time to time there are cricket matches, football matches and other sports which go up to the state and national level.

DIT- OVERVIEW

Placement Experience:

The campus provides good placements for CSE students, as I am a BSc Student there are very less companies that offered roles to Bsc students. The college provides placements starting from the 6th semester, the companies that visit the campus are Deloitte, Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Pal Alto, Techeon, etc. 80-85% of students got placed every year. I am planning for higher studies although.

A college on the top of mountains

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose B.sc in mathematics because I was a science student from early age onwards. The teaching faculty is highly educated as it is a central university and the teaching method is also quite good but no modernising method is used. Still, studies has never been a difficult part. Exams were semester based as we have 2 semesters per year and we need to qualify every semester. It was not difficult to pass in exams as we have sectional and main exams separately.
