Remarks :

There was an entrance exam called CUET for admission to the central university. Once the results came, when I made the cut-off marks I was contacted by the corresponding department (Economics) in the university for the course I applied for. I was given a brief about the college and facilities, course structure, etc, and was asked to pay an admission fee immediately.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Economics is a dynamic course and potential employment-providing course anytime. Hence this course opted. In the Economics department, there were about 7 Faculties with an average of 37 students every batch. Faculties are all well qualified and have PHDs and teaching method includes the use of the latest technology. Every semester there was a minimum of two mid-term tests conducted which eventually counted as a part of internals and other internal marking components including regular assignments, presentations, etc according to the subject and course requirements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of the 2-year course which includes 4 semesters, that is 2 semesters per year was varied according to the odd and even semesters. The first semester's academic fee was 11000, whereas in the second semester, it was only 1200 and in the third semester it was 6200, and fourth semester it was 2200.

Campus Life :

Every year a youth fest named Cankama is conducted and it includes various programs and competitive events among the departments of the university. The library though small in size has a good collection of books ranging from fiction to non-fiction and study journals corresponding to various courses in the university. Classrooms had projector equipment and wifi which is provided to all the students.

Placement Experience:

From the second last semester of UG and PG students can attend campus placement calls and interviews, there is a separate club for placements that will make students able to attend the placement calls, the club will help them to achieve their dream through campus placement. So many companies like Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, federal banks, syndicate banks, etc.. hire students through campus placement. The percentage of campus placement is increasing per year average placement is more than 70%. The average package is more than 10k per month, the maximum package is 1 lakh per month. After getting a degree students can choose either placement or higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A major reason for choosing this college for postgraduation is that am completed my graduation also from this college and also my sister. The faculties are informative and friendly and the teaching methods are also good. There are different departments and a lot of students and in each department, there is a good faculty for all subjects. Term exams are very easy to pass because of the teaching method and they take revisions and teach very well

The economics department has more than 7 faculties whereas every batch contains an average student of 30. The 2020 batch had 38 students. Every semester there were at least 2 midterm tests and other internal components like presentations and assignments were given accordingly. Exams were moderate to pass.
