Remarks :

NITs take admisssions through the JoSAA and CSAB counseling based on the JEE Main rank. Any 12th passed out student from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics can appear for JEE Main exam. Home state students, SC/ST and OBC students get reservation benefits in NITs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum of Electrical Engineering branch at NIT Andhra Pradesh is aligned with industry requirements. Here, almost all the departments follow a faculty to student ratio of 1:15. Almost all the faculties are PhDs. In each semester, exams are conducted four times.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience :

All those students with no active backlog and CGPA above 6 are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Placements of NIT Andhra Pradesh are not upto the mark. Students have to depend upon mass recruiter companies. In year 2022, around 180 companies visited campus and the highest on campus package is 28 LPA by ZScalar and average was 6 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

At NIT Andhra Pradesh, hostel fee is the same for all the students irrespective of the category. But, those who belong to SC/ST/PwD category, don't need to pay academic fee. General category students with income 0-1 lakh per annum don't need to pay academic fee.

Campus Life :

This college conducts only one techno-cultural fest named Vulcanzy in the month of February every year. Library facilities are also good here and books and journals are easily available here. Sports and extra curricular activities are not that much encouraged here like other NITs.

Hostel Facilities :

In hostels, students are given rooms with high speed Wi-Fi, bed and cupboard. Food is also included in the hostel fee but meal quality is not satisfactory. Registration for hostels is taken care by the hostel office. It's upto you if you want to rent a room outside the campus.

Review on GITAM, visakhapatnam

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the campus from the 7th semester and there are a lot of companies that offer placements like TCS, Accenture, Hexaware, Amazon, etc. The average package is 5LPA and the Highest package is 46LPA offered by Amazon. About 70 per cent of students go to placements and the remaining to go for higher studies. I am going to join MBA after getting my degree.

A good Professional university

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the generation is moving towards the software side and the IT side I am also interested in such side and had chosen the course of computer science. The course pattern decided by the course coordinator is the final and the mid-exams are not that difficult we can score good marks if we work hard a little bit.

Nit Andhra Pradesh pros and cons

Placement Experience:

After the 6th-semester students will be eligible for placements. companies like C-dot, Deloitte, Accenture, virtusa etc. Will visit. The highest package for the batch 2022 was 48Lpa. Nearly 98 per cent of students had got placed.
