Remarks :
The application process is generally started in the month of April every year. You can directly take admission by contacting their office, which is on the university campus, without any enterence exam. There are fee & scholarship benefits for the reserved category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose MSc because of opportunities in the research field. The ratio of Science faculty to students is approximately 1 to 35. Most of the members of the faculty are NET qualified and their teaching method is very interesting. The examination is semester-wise ( exams are conducted after five or six months.)
Internships Opportunities :
The college has a good track record of placing its graduates in jobs, with a high percentage of graduates securing employment within a few months of graduation or within the 7th semester of the course
Placement Experience :
There are many companies coming to our university and they are recruiting many students. Many large companies are recruiting students. According to the student's grades companies are recruiting the students with different packages.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Merit Scholarship is awarded in September every year. In the first year, the scholarship will be decided on the merit of the pre-entry marks, mid-semester test and attendance in regular classes. Merit scholarships for consecutive years will be decided based on his/her performance in one end-semester and two mid-semester examinations of each year. Candidates whose fee ranges up to Rs.10,000 will be given a 50% refund of fees, whose fees range from Rs.10,000 to Rs.25,000 will be given a 25% of fee refund and whose fee ranges above Rs.25,000 will be given a 10% refund of fee. Students seeking this scholarship at the time of admission are expected to fill up a separate application for the scholarship available along with their main application form and submit it to the Office of Scholarships for perusal. Campus Life :
Science exhibition in August, Sports fest in December and also National talent hunt on 31st December for 12th standard students which provides an exemption in fees. The library provides all types of educational or socially valuable books.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is equipped with all essential facilities, to make the stay for students comfortable and homely. A well-maintained, hygienic and well-furnished mess with expert cooks serving students healthy sumptuous food is another attraction of the hostel. The hostel can accommodate about 100 students. The hostels are located within the campus of the school. The surroundings are well maintained with lush green gardens and are surrounded by concrete walls. Round-the-clock security ensures a safe haven for the students.
Interview Experience :
Topics of GD were, how you use the technology for research or how you adopted new technologies in the research field. After the announcement of the topic, candidates are given 3-5 minutes for preparation purposes. In case the GD topic is based on a case study, the candidate gets more than 5 minutes for preparation (extra time provided to read the lengthy case sentences.
