Jamia Hamdard review after 2 years.

Remarks :

The eligibility of the course was in terms of 12th Grade score and JEE result. You can find the application form, application fees, and application dates on their website - jamiahamdard.edu . There are no reservation benefits as per my PoVs. Although, they can improve the admission process by setting up more strict terms on eligibility criteria and making the admission process with councelling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was interested in it and had been working on it for a very long time since my school days. The Faculty: Student ratio is good enough. The teachers are really awesome and cooperative. The term exams were easy-moderate if you study well during the classes but semester exams were at quite odd times (since we're still recovering and getting back on track after the COVID era).

Placement Experience :

Placements are okayish. From what I've heard, it's good but not many good companies come to the campus so it's better to go for Off-campus if you have the skillsets. In the year 2021-22, companies like Big oh Tech, 3 Pillars Global, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, TFT, Hexaware, Practo, Clarivate Analysis, Kcloud technologies, WNS Global Research, Magic EdTech, and Evalueserve visited the campus and plenty of jobs was offered to the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost to study is a bit high considering the facilities we get but since we're getting an easy seat in the CSE branch, it compensates. Although, there are a lot of scholarships available as well so you can get free recession from them.

Campus Life :

Life on campus is subjective. Although, the fests are really awesome. Be it cultural or technical, they are literally awesome. Cultural usually happens in October end and Technical ones are conducted during February. Hamdard Library is a well-known library from where even UPSC aspirants can prepare for their exams. For sports and extracurricular activities on campus, we got plenty. From Indoor to outdoor games, there is a large variety of games and sports you can participate in. Talking about social groups, societies & clubs, there are plenty and students can learn from them as well. For now, we have GDSC (Google Developer Student Club), IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), Hackclub, Tezos, AIRS 2.0, Epoch, Literary Club, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and faculty members are very nice. as my college is built recently so everything is new and modern. we have a smart board with folding chairs. there were 480 intakes in 2022 from which 120 students are in my course. The girl ratio is really low. we have very qualified teachers, some of them are from USA big multinational companies. The course is really hard, and exams are very timely.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Many companies in various domains like HFT, Finance, Consulting, core, analyst, management, and product management come to campus and offer a satisfactory amount of seats to students. In recent placements, the highest offer was made to a student of 4 crores pa by Jane street. Around 70-80% of students get placed.

Placement Experience:

Students generally sit for placement at the end of the third year and try for an internship at the end of the second year. Around 70 percent of students get placed in campus placement whereas only 50 percent of students get internship opportunities here at IIT Delhi. My plan is to either pursue MBA from IIMs or get into an MNCs after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Very interesting and I like mathematics. 1:100 is approximately the faculty: students ratio. All faculties have done Ph.D. from foreign universities. Not much difficult to pass. frequently exams.are.taken. which gives stress.
