Remarks :

To be eligible for the MBBS course, the individual must clear the entrance of NEET. To be eligible for NEET one must score 75% in 12th and must have biology in their subject selection. The application form is available on the internet on the NEET registration site. The fees for the entrance are variable and change every year around 1500-2000. The application for the NEET usually starts in December/January but is subject to vary. I did not avail any reservations, but reservations for various classes like SC, ST, Green Card, and State Government School students, are available The admission is smooth and divided into sessions of dates. I have no complaints regarding it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course because I'm interested in becoming a doctor and working for the cause of the nation and helping the diseased. We have a bit of a shortage of faculty in our nonclinical subjects like anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, but other than that we have an average of 1:45 ratio of faculty to student. The faculty must have passed MBBS and done a PG course in the subject they are teaching. Exams are regularly held every month to review our learning. The exams are a bit harder to pass due to the difficulty of the course.

Internships Opportunities :

The college provides internship opportunities to all students after the completion of their final year exams. The internship is associated with a stipend too. The interns regularly go to the hospital, work in different departments and try to gain practical experiences which help them ahead in the future. The internship is mandatory to avail for PG entrance.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is absolutely fine given how expensive the course is to study. Our annual fees are 38000, which is indeed a decent amount. Fees hike based on the government order but still, but the hike is not much and is still affordable. There are various types of scholarships provided to economically backward people and the course still provides financial assistance in the form of these scholarships. The college provides a stipend for internship duration.

Campus Life :

We have an annual function in September called the Elixir. We also have several college fests from different societies. The library provides all required books for the course of various well-known authors. The classroom is big, has AC, and even has a digital screen, projector, and blackboard too for efficient teaching. We have several sports activities like football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.

Hostel Facilities :

The room has 4 beds and cupboards for students to keep their belongings. We also have 3 fans, 4 tables, and chairs. We have 4 led tube lights too for eminent lighting. The meal is very healthy and delicious too. The menu changes frequently and can satisfy everyone. The registration of the hostel happens along with admission into the course. One has to just fill up one hostel form.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Always wanted to be a doctor and I was good at biology. In this college, there are 250 students in a batch and there are 4-5 teachers present in every department. So students teachers ratio is around 25:1 Faculties are well qualified and are experts in their fields. There are Associate professors, professors, and HOD for every department. If someone will study every day at least for 1-2hr, it's easy to pass the semesters and MBE.

Placement Experience:

At the end of 4th year of MBBS ug, final year students get their MBBS degree from the certified UTKAL University then they do a 1-year internship at the same college as a house surgeon for 1 year. College gives them 20-30k per month. At the end of 1 year, students apply for OPSC, Neet PG, and AIIMS PG, and get posted in AIIMS and various government prestigious medical colleges. Around 60-70 students out of 100 get their PG placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a Doctor. So I chose this course. Faculties are very few, to be honest. Teachers are mostly doctors and with pg. Exams are held at the end of the year. It's called a Medical board examination. You have to score 50% in theory and practical separately to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty here are highly skilled and educated. They were very dedicated to education and are very friendly. There is also a great number of professors and assistant professors for each subject. And last but not least if you are pursuing mbbs then you have to pass through a tight schedule, a large number of exams, practicals, viva, and many more but you should think that you have to deal with human life and it is a novel profession. So you have to study a bit harder to pass the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The real reason why I choose this college is my dad wants me to be a doctor and I want to see him happy. There are 19 departments here in medical college and there are 20-50 faculty(including PGs n SR) and there are nearly 1000 students studying here. So the faculty students ratio is quite good. All are at least MBBS qualified which means they are quite knowledgeable. Tutors teach very well Every week we have a weekly test. In one year we appear for 2 semesters and one Medical board exam. And the medical Board is quite tough.
