Both Sweet And Salty

Remarks :

I Got This College After Clearing COMED-K Exam Which Is Mainly An Engineering Entrance Exam For All Engineering Colleges (Mainly Private Ones) Across Karnataka. Colleges Liked MS Ramaiah And BMS College Of Engineering Also Come Under This Entrance Examination. After Counselling Process I Got My Seat For Mechanical Engineering In The First Round Itself. And Rest Of The Admission Procedure Was Done Physically Reporting To The College Itself With The Fees And The All The Remaining Formalities Done Very Smooth And Perfectly..

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum Is Based On The Latest NEP Scheme. That Is National Education Policy Scheme. This Scheme Offers The Students Not Only To Attain Theoretical Knowledge But Also Priorities The Development Of A Student's Skills As Well. Hence I Found This College A Booster For Powering Up And Installing New Skills In Me. Faculty Members Are All Highly Qualified As Well As Knowledgeable. Special Care Is Taken For Students Who Have Difficultly In Specific Topics For A Particular Subject. The Syllabus Coverage By The Faculties Are Very Proper And Done On Time.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship Opportunities Are All Good. Yet It All Depends On How Productive You Are With Your Skills. Based On Your Skills Your Internships Shall vary. The industrial and non Industrial internships are both enjoyable as well as there were lot to learn from them.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester itself. Companies like Kirloskar , ACC , Ultratech , Siemens , ABB , Jindal and Many others visit for placements. From mechanical branch the percentage of students getting placed is low yet branches like CS and ISE Have a good percentage of students getting placed every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees Structure Is Moderately Fine If You're Coming From A Middle Class Background. There Are Even Options Of Scholarship Opportunities With Regards To Your Merits. The College Too Provides Financial Assistance To Those Who Are In Need Of Help With Regards To Partial Fees Payment Or Some Other Issues.

Campus Life :

PESCO is Conducted every year and serves as the refresher for the whole year around. On an addition we have The Kalotsava and many other events which will keep you engaged and charmed throughout your course period. Library is well equipped with a humungous collection of books and by books it means good authors for almost all topics and subjects that are requisite for competitive as well the college semester exams. Classrooms are well ventilated will projector and a digital system available in almost all of them. When it comes to sports it's of a high value in this college. Almost every month witnesses some or the other state level competition in the college and there is absolutely no sport which the college doesn't provide facility for. So if you're a sports freak ... You'll definitely have a good time here are PESCE Mandya. Clubs are run by student groups based on activities that are energized by the students themselves.

Hostel Facilities :

There are two hostels here. One is VSVM which is only for first year students. There are around 100 double rooms which are well ventilated. It is around 1km from the campus with bus service available at every 5 mins from the hostel itself. The food there is not good but manageable if you're not bothered about it. The second hostel is the Boys hostel which is inside the college campus. It has both single double and triple room accomodations. Food is better here and it also has 24 hour WiFi facilities as well as a student can have access to the college ground from here as well. Admission for hostel is done on the day of admission for course itself with the fees taken in cash. The yearly charge for hostel is 69000 for single rooms , 65000 for double rooms and 61000 for triple rooms. Also Mandya has a lot of PGs and rental rooms just neat to the college vicinity which are affordable and can be tried out if the hostel fees seem out of the budget.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very passionate about engineering. I wanted to change the idea of how people visualize mechanical engineering. And on the other hand, mechanical engineering excites me to a top-notch level. Faculty Student Ratio is 1:15. Faculties are highly qualified and portray their knowledge and interests in the subjects they teach. Term exams were timely and the difficulty level was easy to moderate.

Placements are excellent at BMSCE students get placed from the 5th semester onwards. Some companies which visit include Infosys, Intel, hp, Cisco, etc. The highest package will be 40 to 50 LPA each year and the average package is around 9lpa. In CSE the placements are almost 100% but considering all branches it's around 80%. I am planning to do a job after my degree.
