A glimpse of my college

Remarks :

The admission process of my batch was done online, because of the Covid situation. The process was quite smooth. We were asked to submit certain documents on the college website. The documents included a birth certificate, mark sheets of 10th and 12th, a bonafides certificate, a character certificate, etc. There was an online verification of documents also done through video call after submitting the documents. The application form will be available on the official site of the college. The eligibility to admit to the college for the branch cse was to score above 2340/2400 in SAT 2 for my batch. The only improvement I would recommend is that the website where all the admission takes place can be improved as some of the time it does not work due to huge traffic. But overall the process was very convenient.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I was inclined towards the software field and our college has an excellent history of placements for the Computer science branch. The teaching of the faculty is nice too. The teaching methods are quite advanced too. The college has many professors with numerous degrees and they have been working in the software field for 20-plus years. The term exams have been regular and have been timely too. They weren't easy to pass but with proper preparation and regular study, you can pass them with ease.

Internships Opportunities :

We have great internship opportunities too in our college. Big mnc's come to campus to hire students for 2 monthly internships. The stipend ranges from 50k- 1.1 lakhs on average. During intern time usually, students get to learn the knowledge of a full stack developer but again it depends on the company that has hired you too.

Placement Experience :

We have a very good record of placements in our college. Maximum students get placed with average package of 10-14 lakhs. Various companies come to the college. My plans after college are to work in the company and gain as much as experience I can get.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

From the time that I have been here, there hasn't been any increase in college fees its been constant. The fee structure includes tuition fees, hostel fees, and mess fees. We also have various scholarships in our college for different categories. And since I'm in my 3rd year, I have an internship with a Stipend of 11000 Rs.

Campus Life :

We have various fests in our college from talent fests like Culrav to technical fests like Aavishkar, and Hack36. Also, every committee has fests that they conduct. These are usually done in April and October. We have a wide range of books available in our central library. Classrooms are also well equipped. We have a website of a training placement office that is made by college students. Also Aavishkar website was also made by students.

Hostel Facilities :

I am in a hostel. We have 2 girls hostels for all the 4 years. In our hostel in one room 2 people stay. The hostel room is quite small comparatively to other colleges. But the hostel has various facilities like common room, night canteen, stationary shop etc.

A placement year can give students inspiration for final-year projects and dissertations. It can also help develop your soft skills, such as being able to work in a team and the ability to solve complex problems, which are all valuable assets for both your academic and professional career, as Jasmine experienced.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are applicable for campus placement. All big companies like Wipro, IBM, TCS, and many such companies come to our college and they also do mass recruitment. The highest package of last year was in amazon in AWS was around 30LPA. The placement percentage of students in CSE is around 95 percent. My plan after getting the degree is to take placement from college.

College students are eligible for campus placements after the fourth year. In campus placements, the necessary thing for a student is the skills and also the work experience. Companies prefer skills over knowledge.
