From my experience:-)

Remarks :

Well, the admission process is quite easy. It totally based on your 12th board percentage and if you give any competitive exam like jee mains. They gave you scholarships on your 12th result and your jee result if u have more than 90 per cent in your 12th u get a 50 per cent scholarship on your tuition fee, the same for jee mains. The admission form found on Google, on the college website. Yes, there are many reservation benefits but I didn't get any because I belong to the general category:(. Admission starts in August mid and closed in October end. The application fee is 500 and if u want to reserve a seat u have to pay 5000 more, which later cut your tuition fee. So, yeah that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum and faculty members are just adorable. They all are M.tech and some of them are PhD holders and their teaching mathods are just amazing like real life examples and visualization and all that and they completes the syllabus before time so, we have enough time for revision. I opted for computer CSE because as we all know that we get better job opportunities in CSE than in the core branches. There are mainly 6 branches in b.tech ( CSE, ECE, EE, ME, CE and FTS). FTS is a unique course which is not in any other college ( rarely it is). Now come to the exam (as it is affiliated with MDU Rohtak) so the semester exam pattern is as per MDU, frequently say moderate to difficult level and you have to work a bit hard to get good marks. Before the semester exam, there are two sessional exams, two assignments for every subject and one IIOT project ( related to coding and IIOT) which is compulsory to submit. There are 125 students in our class and about 10 teachers in the CSE department.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement in our college is decent if you work a bit hard you'll easily get a package of 5-6 lakhs, in CSE it is an average package. In core branches obviously, it is low as compared to cse. FTS is a new branch so placement in that field is quite good tho. College is ti-up with 350 + companies, a few of them which I recall are Infosys, TCS, Axix bank, ICICI Bank, Micromax, shoperte, Aviotron airospace, Ashok Layland etc. The average package in CSE is 5-6 lakh and the highest package is 25 lakh ( by Amazon, obviously off campus) in CSE about 85 per cent of students got placed the same in ECE. But in core branches, the average package and the no of students placed is a bit lower than CSE. Students are eligible for placement in their final year. Coming to an internship, you'll look into it by yourself. You should look for an off-campus intership, the college only provide a link. My plan is to get a good job whether it is via on-campus or off-campus placement drive or in PSUs through GATE:-).

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee for b.tech is 70000 per year for M.tech it is 77000, for BBA it is 45000 and for MBA it is 580000, which you have to pay semester wise. And yes there is a slight hike in fees every year. Because I'm in the CSE branch, we have to pay 20000 extra for IIOT which is too semester-wise ( 10000 each). But there are many scholarships like based on your 12th result and jee the main result as I mentioned above. If you have more than 90 per cent in your 12th board you get 50 per cent off on your tuition fee same for jee mains and any other competitive exam like bitsat. Besides this, in your university exam if you are a university topper then you'll get a 100000 cash prize and if you rank 2 to 10th position, you'll get a 50000 cash prize and if you are a college topper you'll get a 10000 cash prize. If you belong to a financially weak background you can opt for an education loan, and the college will provide financial assistant. There is a PNB branch on the campus itself.

Campus Life :

College life is quite good because there are many cultural and technical fests, debates and many compilations are held from time to time. 'Achiever' is the annual biggest cultural fest here which is organised in march and is for three days. The biggest Punjabi or Haryanvi singers are invited and there is an amazing star-like in the previous one ( Achiver 2K19) Parmish Verma came here. Mankirat Aulakh, Jassie gill, Babbal rai, Ajay Hooda, Sharry Mann and Annu Kadyan were the past guests. There is no Achiver in the previous two years because of the lockdown but this year it will be organised in march ( just a month left:)).prize distribution will happen for Gitam Achievers. And there is an annual sports event, in the previous one, Neeraj Chopra was the main guest. Techspardha is the annual technical fest here. There are many clubs like dance clubs, technical clubs, and singing clubs run by students. And there is a women's cell for women's welfare. I'm a part of a dance club, technical club and women's cell.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel charges are 55000. Hostel facilities are decent u get an almirah, a bed, table and chair. There are 3 seaters, two-seater and single-seater rooms available here ( Ac and non-AC). 24/7 wifi facilities are provided in the hostel. Sometimes water supply has some issues but in a couple of hours, it will be maintained. Now come to the mess facility, you'll get four times meals a day and the quality is good enough. For breakfast you'll get parathas with dahi or cholle - bture or cholle - kulcha or bread butter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I am very fond of computers and mobile devices since my childhood and want to learn the work behind these smart gadgets. Overall faculty students ratio is good it is approximately 1:40. Most of the teachers are M.tech qualified from prestigious universities like Jamia and Aligarh and some PhD holders as well. As far as teaching is concerned, the overall methodology is good and don't expect some game changing scenarios. Most of the time, term exams happen in timely manner. Due to covid there was some sort of irregularities but now it is all good right now. Passing exams is not that much challenging if you have basic understanding of concepts and ability to apply them. Most of questions comes from previous year papers.

From the 5th semester or 3rd year of Btech, students become eligible for campus placements, and companies like IBM and Samatrix visit the campus for internships and job offers. The highest package was 36 lacs and 100% training and placement. Applying to different companies privately is also an option.

I have already done my polytechnic diploma in electrical engineering. So that's why I need to graduate for higher education. The coordination between students and teachers is well and good. Qualifications of teachers almost teachers are Ph.D. holders. The time of exam in a year happened 2 times in a year half and half. No difficulty passing exams if you have your subject knowledge.
