Remarks :

The college has an entrance exam of its own which is known as the IBSAT. One needs to give the exam and at least get 60% in the exam to be eligible for the group discussion and interview. Once this is done based on the score a person will get the campus. The fee for IBSAT is 1000Rs and they have there site from which one can register.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I did my PGPM in Finance and Marketing. The college has an amazing set of faculties who will help you with everything. The reason for me doing this course from IBS is the placement. Case studies are given to the students and the learning process is the same for every subject. Concepts are explained with the help of case studies. Talking about the exams it happens once every month which means one has to give the exams 4 times per semester which is easy and based on the concepts.

Internships Opportunities :

Different banks and other companies come for the interview process for internship which has to be done for a period of 3 months. It is great learning experience for everyone in the campus and mentors are allotted for the same to each and every student.

Placement Experience :

The campus placement of the college js decent. The average package is 6,00,000 per annum. Companies like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Unity Bank, TCS, EY, etc. comes in the campus for interview.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is 8,00,000 lac for 2 years course and the placement is also good. The average package is 6,00,000 pa. The college offers a scholarship to the students based on a different sets of criteria. Overall the college and course are good.

Campus Life :

Social life is amazing. Every year there is a fest called Zeal where all the students and clubs participate and play different games. There is a sports club, cultural club, Nazaria club, etc. Digital ambassador is also a part of the college where students who get selected get a stipend of 6000 per month.

Interview Experience :

There's a written test known as IBSAT which is the entrance exam of the college and a minimum of 60 percentage is required to clear this test. Once this is done group discussion and personal interview rounds are done and the campus are given according to the percentage and makes obtained by the students.

Placement Experience:

In the initial months of the 1st semester, we go through the summer placement process where 100% batch gets placed within a few days and the average stipend for this batch was 3.03 Lakh. The special thing about SJMSOM is that 50-60% of the batch gets PPO from the summer internships itself and thus for the finals only half of the batch competes among each other. The average package for the Final Placement is 28.88 LPA and the highest package is 54 LPA with 100% placement. Almost all top companies from FMCG to Investment Banking participate in the placement process and there are ample opportunities for the students to get their dream roles.

Placement Experience:

The placement for the senior batch was a bit ok. The package offered was above ten lakhs. But if I talk about the internship opportunities for our batch it is not up to the mark. The roles offered are not that attractive.
