SRM University, Delhi NCR Review

Remarks :

To apply for admission in SRM University, Sonipat the student must have passed class 12 with at least 60% marks. For scholarship students can apply for SRMHCAT exam which is conducted by the University itself every year. I received 75% scholarship on tuition fee.

Course Curriculum Overview :

To accomplish my dream of becoming a judge I choose this as my career option. The staff is very good here. The faculty is well qualified. The average faculty-student ratio here is 1:35. Two MSTs and final semester exams are conducted every semester. The level of questions is not so tough but the checking is quite strict.

Internships Opportunities :

Actually, this is my first year and the University doesn't provide internship opportunities during the first year. But there are regular moot court sessions conducted every week. Many seminars and orientation sessions are also held.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last semester. There are a no. of companies that have visited and offered placements. Some of the students got placements for Rs 9-10 lacs. I want to pursue a career in the judiciary.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fee is about 150000 per year and the total fee including other charges costs around 200000. I got an SRMHCAT scholarship and got 75% live on tuition fees. And to continue the scholarship for the next academic year the student must score 9sgpa.

Campus Life :

A cultural fest is conducted every year by the cultural society in April or May. There is a separate library for law students. Books can be issued very easily. Sports meet is also conducted during November. Winners are given medals and trophies. Also, there are various societies such as dance societies, singing societies, drama societies, photography club, etc.

Placement Experience:

Many students got high package placements last year from MBA. They got a package of 10-12 lakhs per annum. Those students are well-settled in their careers and live now. I am also expecting this type of placement for myself.

I don't know much about placements because I'm in my first year right now. but I can say that the average package is 10lakhs something in law. Every year many students get so many placements outside. My plan is to apply for the judiciary exam after getting the degree.
