Remarks :
So the main process starts with giving JEE entrance. The main eligibility is JEE CRL Rank with 10,12th with the registered state board or CBSE board. After the Jee mains and JEE advance exam is done and the result is declared then after some weeks there is counselling conducted by the MPDTE directorate of technology and engineering. Here you have to apply online there are two rounds of counselling and CLC rounds according to the seats left. For registration in choice filling in update counselling you have to deposit an amount of approximately 2000 rupees. This year in 2023, counselling will start in August. The first type of reservation here you will get is of being a domicile of MP as this college is in MP so 90% of seats are reserved for the students who belong to MP with the certificate of MP domicile, the rest 10% seats are reserved for other state students. The second type of reservation you got is of caste which is the same as therein Jossa counselling. The admission process is systematic.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is aligned the same as with RGPV and there are few variations in the subjects provided as SATI is an autonomous body. Seeing the boom of CS and IT I availed this course. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1: 30. As this college is old and well establish so facilities are well qualified but this does not mean that their teaching method is also very good. In any branch of SATI you will get only 2 or 3 teachers with very good teaching others are not good. Some teachers use the digital way or you can say advance for your analysis while others do nothing. This means the main thing is that if you get the right teacher for a good subject like digital electronics and computer science you are at a good level, otherwise you have to do it all by yourself. In 4 months of the semester, you have two mid sem examinations and one end sem examination in between there are assessment tests according to the respected teachers. The best of two medicine is taken for the final result.
Internships Opportunities :
From the college, there is one month internship given to all the students in the third year and you have to just do the task and work given by the college and you have to be in the college only and nothing and no strip and also will be given for that month. No other extra companies or anything arrives in this college for internships. Here you have to apply online or to other sources for internships, yeah there is relaxation for you by the college if you get an internship from an external source. Projects are especially conducted or you can say done by the core branches like electrical and mechanical not by the CS IT sector and the outcomes will also be for them only.
Placement Experience :
Here in this college, you will get placement offers and this is up to you how you will see that offers and get the job. From the end of the 6th semester, you will be eligible for sitting in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Infosys come here. I don't know the accurate number of offers given as I am in the first year only. The highest package from this college is 27 LPA and the average package is 3 to 4 LPA. The reality is that the students from the CSE branch or the allied branches like CSE BC blockchain, AI, and IT branches students get placed and other branches like mechanical, civil, and electrical students didn't even get the chance to set in the placement drive. Almost 50 % of students get placed every year. I plan to first get placement whether off-campus or On-campus then prepare for the gate examination.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Starting from the first year at the time of admission you have to deposit an amount of 55000 or 60000 according to the course as the first installment. The second installment of 23 to 24000 at the end of the first semester in a total of 78000 or 80000 for 1 year then for the next 3 years there is 55 to 57000 per year. Here you get two types of scholarships first MMVY mukhyamantri medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana and the scholarship given by the central government. In MMVY you get a total refund of your college fees as well as if you reside in a college hostel that also. In the central scholarship, you get a refund approximately equal to the college fee but that is only to SC/ST, the OBC gets less refund. The third thing is the TFW seat which is a tuition fee waiver in this you don't have to pay anything to the college your whole study is free of cost and this is given to only the 5% of students of any branch with their highest score in Jee. Since I am in my first year I didn't get any stipend from college.
Campus Life :
There is one annual fest named Samrat Utsav, it is a small chance to perform and earn gifts. Samrat Utsav is generally conducted in January or February. Talking about the availability of books in general in the library so the libraries are very excellent. There you can get a variety of books you can even prepare for other examinations also, there is a quiet place for the study also with Wi-Fi. Amenities in all the classrooms are below average only there are a few classes like a smart room and the VV NATU lab which are well furnished. In sports cricket is highly appreciated, in the first year you can join the cricket club and in the second year, you can represent SATI and play the Madhav Rao Sandhya cricket tournament. There are clubs like RDC (Rudra's dance club), Udaan, Miraj photography club, art, and literally club, Aagaz, etc. These all clubs are run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
When I joined the hostel there the hostel was lack facilities. But now after the renovation of the Indira Gandhi hostel, it is very nice. The rooms are clean and nicely painted you will get bad I study table chair and almirah fixed in the wall. In the hostel you get a common room and also a TV room to enjoy the matches and live events there is also the facility for table tennis so you can play there. Talking about the meal and menu so the meal provided here is just above the average. Here the menu is not fixed. One thing is fixed you will get a feast every Sunday and on festivals. The registration process is very simple you just have to pay you will get a printed received and the hostel is your second thing is affordability so the hostel is affordable because the price of rent outside is higher than at the hostel. If I would have rented the PG or room then not all the areas are good only some specific areas have a good locality like the area around the college has a good locality.
