Remarks :

The eligibility was an H.S. pass. I have found the application form on the website of the said college. Application fees were Rs.500 for general candidates. The application date was just 1.5 months after the declaration of the HS result.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I love Physics and Math so I took Physics at graduation. The total number of students reading was almost 15 in my class and the no. of teachers was approx 05 in my department. All the faculties were M.sc pass with Ph.D. holders and one of them was doing research in Quantum Mechanics in Japan. The exams taken were standard and on time, twice in a year and sometimes small class tests were going on for us. The difficulty level was moderate as the question paper was made by Burdwan University.

Class Size : 15Course Fees : INR 9250 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees was comparatively ok and manageable. I have got a scholarship named "Inspire Scholarship" from Govt. of India in the year 2010-2011. I have got Rs.60,000/- per year (1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year) which was very helpful for me. But there was no option for campusing jobs.

Campus Life :

We have got one annual fest after taking admission in the college in the month of August-September. The library was very good and the stock of books was also very sound. Sometimes we borrowed some books from the library. The classrooms were quite well though it requires improvement. There was a Gym room for the students and a carrom room. A WhatsApp and Facebook group is presently active and run by some Ex-professors and students of the college.

A story of a average student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Okay number of classes that we're given is quite enough and every class time limit is 1hour to hour. The faculty member of our department is very helpfull and good. There are 6 professor and 4 of them assigned to the mathematics bsc honours classes. They provide us every detail and knowledge of their papers. After completion 80% of the syllabus our term exams internals are held and it is quite hard to pass if you are not regular to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mathematics because it is really an interesting subject and I study it with great curiosity. The faculty is extremely good with brilliant professors who help the students at their best in every way possible. The students get engrossed in their studies by the environment. The professor teaches very nicely by making the students understand each concept minutely. They come up with different ways so that the topics become comparatively easy to grasp. 6-semester exams will be held in the 3 years course. Two end semesters in one year. Internals are taken by the professor before the end semester. A student can easily pass these exams if he/she studies diligently.

Basically, I choose this course because I love coding. But in our department, there is a small problem we have only 3 faculty members. But those faculty members are quite good they help us with various topics. The exam is taken every 6 months like other collages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am studying Zoology Honours there. I chose the course because that's my field and I wanna do something big in life science. The Faculty: Student Ratio in our department is really good. It's around 1:10. The teachers are really qualified in their subject. Most of them have done research in their own field. Their teaching method is student-friendly and they teach in English and Bengali. The terms are running timely as of now and the exam difficulty depends upon how you pay attention to it. As teachers, there are very good in terms of completing the syllabus on time.
