Remarks :
The admission process was based on Cut off. Every information was there on the DU website so it was easy. There are no reservation benefits. Yes we saw improvement in the admission process as now entrance exams will take place.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose History Honours because I love to study the history of different nations. Our faculty is really enthusiastic about teaching and each and every teacher is really helpful and motivating. Qualification of faculty is mostly Ph.D. Term exams were now after every 4 months due to covid. It was quite difficult to cope with 6 months semester in just 4 months.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship till now which has come up is, VC Chancellor internship from Delhi University. No other internship has come up from the college side. Internship opportunities are very less on campus.
Placement Experience :
The campus doesn't provide much of placements. The placement cell is very inactive in this. My plans after this degree are UPSC and Ph.D. Being a humanities student after a bachelor not many options are open for jobs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is really good and easy to understand. There are many scholarship opportunities on our campus, the best student, student of the year, northeast students have their scholarships, also reserved category have their own scholarships. The campus provides internship opportunities.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is average, not too good not so bad. Fest is more like annual days of school. No fun only performances. Campus sites are amazing. Availability of books and journals can be easily accessible in the library. Sports are given more of a preference. Societies don't get time for much practice. Nss doesn't get so much value on the campus which is not appreciable. Every society in college is run by students for example Girlsup, KaalNidhi, Politia, etc.
