Remarks :
At my admission time, one had to clear DU JAT with a high percentile score after passing her senior secondary schooling. The admission process was simple. You just had to score well to get admission to the DU JAT entrance exam. But now, it has been changed to the CUET entrance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academics of this college is really unmatchable. I chose this course because I had to pursue BMS from the top college in India. Here, the faculty: student ratio is 1:20. The teaching methods used by the faculty made learning easy and simple. They use many practical methods of teaching by organising group presentations on a particular topic and also organising case competitions. External Examinations here occurred on a semester basis and there used to be internal exams eventually every month with a lot of test papers.
Internships Opportunities :
The company selects in terms on the basis of case competitions personal interviews and provide a minimum stipend of rupees 2000 per month. there are companies that select students on the basis of their profile for unpaid internships.
Placement Experience :
Students in the college become eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the course. Companies like Bain & Co., Silver Piston, Everest, etc. Offering job placement for almost all the students of the particular batch with an average package of 6-7 lakhs p.a. Approximately 75% of the students get placed till the end of placement season every year. My personal plan after getting the degree is to pursue MBA or PGDM from a premium college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is very minimal as it is a government-authorised University. They provide scholarships to PWD students up to 80% and the same to the other sections of society. They provide free books from the library, laptop assistance, etc. For students who can't afford these materials. Placement opportunities are also provided by the campus recruiters where they offer an average package of 6-7 lakh p.a.
Campus Life :
I would rate the life on the campus a 6/10 because they are more focused on the academic side as compared to the cultural life of students. The annual fest of the college is CRESCENDO which shows a maximum footfall of 500 -600 students. Other college students don't know about the campus and the facilities. On the other hand, talking about the infrastructure and the amenities provided by the campus, I would rate it a 10/10 as compared to other colleges of Delhi University. The College is A-rated by NAAC for 3 consecutive years on the basis of cleanliness, student behaviour and infrastructure. The College has almost 40 societies out of which 10+ are cultural societies and the others include academics, international relations and placement cells. Sports is not a very focused department of this college but it has facilities provided like sports equipment and a football field with goalposts.
