Remarks :
The admission process is free. Vivekananda college has there own website where I apply for the course with my percentile and other personal details, if your name came in the cut-off list college will send you a payment page where you make the payment and that's all. You don't have to visit the college for admission. Eligibility for admission minimum of 60% in aggregate and 60% in Honours subject. Yes, Reservation is available for ST/SC/OBC. The website is very good and user-friendly no one will face any problems regarding admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as I took commerce in class 10+1 and I can see the opportunity of a job after doing this course. The student is almost 300 and it's divided into two sections 150 and 150. Bcom department teachers are very student friendly they will help you in every possible way they can, in projects exams and other curricular activities. All the teachers are highly qualified. Exams occur in the semester every 6 months, and exams are moderate difficulty, not too hard not too easy. A student who studies a little bit can pass easily.
Internships Opportunities :
There are semester projects on various topics like environmental awareness, the computer it project, and the cleanness project. What we have to do in field projects. Internships in Lions international are offered without a stipend.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are very nominal, they take 2560 per semester for Bcom hons. There is also an SVMCM scholarship for students which can be easily available from the college. SVMCM provides rs12 thousand per year for bcom students.
Campus Life :
The college campus is happening place, we have our fest, In our last fest, KK came. In our college, there is a big library where you can sit and study any book of your choice. Classrooms are huge with a projector in them, to demonstrate any topic or subject. We have a big playground or field where we play cricket, football, tug of war and other games. We also have indoor games like Table Tennis, carrom, chess, and Ludo. We have dance, singing, sayari, and drama society, all these societies are run by students.
