Remarks :

We got admission through jee mains. The opening rank of mechanical is 30k and closing was 90k for general candidates. Sc and st got reservations based on caste. After jee the main result counselling starts. I don't think there is a need for improvement in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in mechanical so I choose this course. The student-teacher ratio in my department is 8:1.most of the teachers are doing there PhD from IITs and are well qualified. There are two Mid-semester exams and one end-semester exam. The exam is difficult most of the students got back in more than one subject

Class Size : 78Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Most of the students got internships. Some of the companies where they got internships are tata motors, Hero motor cop, Exxon Mobil, ONGC etc. In core machine design, system engineering related internship is offered

Placement Experience :

After the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. In my department, there are several companies like maruti suzuki, hero motorcop, Reliance, valency international etc are coming for placement. Reliance gave 10 offers hero gave 8 offers Maruti gave 7 offers etc. The highest package is 22lpa in valency international. The average package is 7.5lpa.more than 80% of students got placed. My plan is to opt for placement and preparation for the gate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fees of my college including the Hostel and mess are around 200000. Most of the students opt for up scholarship and many of them got it. Another scholarship is the Siemens scholarship, ONGC scholarship etc. If anyone needs an education loan then they can take it. There is good job opportunity most of the students got placed with an average package of 7.5lpa

Campus Life :

The annual festival is aadhay and the technical fest is technika. Aadhay was held in June and technika was held in May. There are some monthly programs also. There are more than 1lakh books in a library. so we got from there. Some classrooms have ac and good facilities. Sports facilities are mediocre. Other than cricket and football there is no good sports facility. There is a good society for dance and E- cell for startups.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is mediocre Hostel rooms have fans and Tubelight. We can keep it cooler for summer. Meal quality is good on some days and some days have bad food. There is online registration for the Hostel. It is affordable. Nearby nawab ganj Kanpur is there for a rented room or PG.
