NITA Review

Remarks :

The admission is done through the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Mains, you'll get the CSE to the 98 percentile and till Electronics and Instrumentation, you can get it at the 95 percentile approximately, the application form can be filled on the JEE mains website itself after the order issued.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course because it is beneficial to be in the circuital branches as far as the placements are concerned. The faculties are good and supportive. There will be mid-term and end term examinations in a single semester and I don't think passing them is a big task... You can do that easily.

Internships Opportunities :

The Internship season starts with the start of the third year i.e. at the start of the sixth semester, a number of companies visit the campus and hire students based on their skills. If done some of the projects in the respective fields particularly in the IT field would benifit. As seen people doing great projects in web development are hired.

Placement Experience :

The placement season begins at the ending of the sixth semester and the beginning of the seventh semester and goes on. A big number of companies approximately 150 in number visit the campus to hire students. The highest placement from EIE this year was 37 LPA and the majority of the students barring one or two were placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is approx 60000 per semester. You'll get 2/3rd relaxation if family income is in between 100000 to 500000 if less than one lakh you'll get full relaxation of the tuition fee. So financial assistance is good and job opportunities are also good.

Campus Life :

The name of the Technical fest is Aayam which is one of the biggest tech-fest in North East India which is generally conducted in January while the Cultural fest is Moksha which is generally conducted at the time of March-April. The books and journals are available in the library which is quite big. The sports extracurricular activities are quite good and participate in Inter NIT as well. There are many clubs like E-cell, and DCC as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose mechanical because I was interested in automobiles and machines. At that time faculty-student ratio was around 4:1 All the faculties are highly qualified and very helpful, and they chose mechanical because I was also very interested in the teaching methods. The schedule has been perfectly maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is average with a good knowledge of subjects. girls and boys are present in a fixed ratio as it's decided by the government around 30:70. faculty and teaching methods are average. mid-term and end-term exams are conducted each semester and it's not much difficult to score here.

Placement Experience:

So about the placements students from the 7th semester are eligible for the interviews and from the end of the 5th semester they are eligible for on-campus internships. And from any year they apply for internships in other colleges and companies. Our seniors help us to get the internship. A lot of companies visit our companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and other big companies they provide very big packages to the students who are skillful+ NIT tag also matters so its east to shine in the interviews. The highest package was for the student from the ECE department it was around 64lpa domestic package. Around more than 80% of students get placed in our college. My plans are clear I want to get a decent job with a good package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty members were very nice and helpful. They are used to help students with any problem related to exams and the subjects. the course curriculum is also very good. Subjects like engineering mechanics, and graphics were quite new to me. But with the help of seniors and faculty members, the subjects became familiar to me and I was quite satisfied.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements at the beginning of the 7th semester. Big-notch companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, AWS, Trilogy, Samsung, and Texas as well as various start ups like Olx, PayPal visited this year with around 90% of students in CSE already being placed, and various other core companies also visited with students of other branches also being placed in good numbers. In CSE the highest package for SDE roles is around 39 lakhs per annum and the average is around 20 lakhs per annum whereas in other branches the average is around 8-9 lakhs per annum for core profiles. My plan is to grab a placement and work in an SDE role in a big-notch company after getting the degree.
