Balancing Future and life at University.

Remarks :

For the B.Tech course, candidates need to appear for the AP EAMCET entrance exam. They also offer dual programs like B.Tech and MTech together for six years. For these courses, the AUEET entrance exam will be required. The candidates with a valid AUEET rank will be prioritized for getting seats at Andhra University. Only after AUEET candidates are allotted their seats will further students who have attempted AP EAMCET and JEE Main exams will be considered. Application forms, application fees, and application dates will be found in the AP EAMCET portal. Reservations benefits will also be provided in this college. I want to see some improvement in the admission process and the admission fees should be the same for everyone. As there will be no fees for the white card holders as they will be provided scholarships by the government. And also reservations should not be there, as everyone were developed these days. So, every student should be treated as same. No reservations should be there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

College academics are so good. Each semester good courses was prepared by examination cell. Each semester there are extra skill courses offered by all departments. The curriculum is well scheduled and have a good chance to learn the core subjects. Each semester, pass percentage was approximately 90% for every department. I had choosen this b.tech course to lead a good position in the core company as I had opted Electrical Engineering. Our faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They teach in-depth concepts. They help us in every aspect. The course structure helps and makes us industry-ready. Our faculty members are good at communication. Exams conducted in our college are a bit-tough. They clear the labs and doubts with particular sections. The syllabus is completed on time according to Andhra University. We can easily ask our doubts to the faculty members, and they will develop the skill sets in every student.

Internships Opportunities :

The internships will be offered by the companies during recruitment. The training process will be provided by the companies in the name of internships and they also provide a stipend at the time of the internship. Till now, the internship offered companies are Schneider Electric, cerium systems, DBS technologies, EY India, and TCS. The projects were also provided by the companies during the internship. The projects for the freshers are to develop a code and executing. And also other than the internships, in our college curriculum, in the 4th year 2nd semester, the projects should be published by the students and each student must and should do the group project based on their respected core concepts. And the reviews will be there during the projects and also the final explanation should be done. The final semester is only based on the projects. This year, the internship is mandatory for all the students in the third year and that was added to the curriculum.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for getting the placements from the 3rd year 2nd semester. This year i.e., 2023, a big number of companies visited our college that is nearly 40 companies of my knowledge. And nearly 1000 students were offered by the different companies till now. The companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Pwc, ADP, Accenture, etc., are service-based companies and coming to the core-based companies i.e., Cerium systems, L&T, Schneider Electric, Samsung, JSW Steel, ITC, signal chip, etc. This year till now, 85% of students got placed in every department. The average package offered by our college is 6lpa and the least package is 3lpa and the highest package from our college is 81lpa from the cse department and the company is Atlassian American company. And after that, the highest package is 16lpa from Samsung R&D. Maximum number of students are planning to abroad study after completion of the degree this year. And some are planning to Mtech.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In our college, the fee structure is 0 for the white-card holders which means those students will get scholarships from the AP government and that will be taken by the college administration. And the normal students should pay 63400/- for every year. And also there will be separate hostel fees. The cost to study is not worth it according to my opinion. The name of the scholarship for the white-card holder students is Jagananna Vidyadevana from the AP government. Every year, there are approximately 90% of students placed in top MNCs. The highest package was 81lpa this year in the American Atlassian company. The average package is around 6lpa. The least package is 3.5lpa this year. I got on-campus jobs were Tech Mahindra Cerium systems which is of 6lpa, L&T, and which is of 6lpa. This year, all credit goes to our Training officer for placements, as he is showing our college to a different number of companies for recruitment.

Campus Life :

Annual fests and tech fests will be conducted once a year. Several books & journals will be provided in the college library. The college had great extracurricular committees like NCC, sports, dancing, debating, singing, playing indoor games, etc., which are used to organize several extracurricular activities and competitions for students to participate in. The club that was recently developed in our college is edumoon. Edumoon club is developed by the students and that was very helpful to every student as they will provide previous year's papers, and also they will be helpful to build a career for every student. They also provide campus ambassadors and different roles to mingle in this club. And also they created a discord website as the community groups will be developed and also everyone can share their ideas. The amenities in the classrooms were very well maintained. The college had provided the projectors in the classrooms. The lab equipment is also very useful to the students.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are neat and hygienic. The hostel infrastructure is very nicely designed and the rooms are well maintained. The hostel rooms are equipped with good-quality beds and study tables. The wardens are very friendly. The cleaners clean washrooms and rooms every day. Rooms will be given by sharing with 3 to 4 people. There will be 24/7 power provided in the hostels. There will be separate hostels for boys and girls. The food menu is good and they will provide milk and coffee every day. There is security 24 hours a. Outsiders will not be allowed into the hostels. The registration process for hostels is keeping applications only. Wi-fi is also provided in the hostels. Hostel fees are also very less compared to the other hostels and PGs. Hostel fees with mess bill are 3500/- for every month. The non-veg meals are also provided twice a week. If anyone doesn't want the hostels of the college, then there will be PGs and private hostels near the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was an electrical engineering student. I have chosen this course because thinking about the future. As we know that in the future electrical engineers are going to rule the country as we are using more Electric Vehicles. As coming to the faculty-student ratio we see at least 1 faculty for 30-40 students in a branch. The Faculty are well educated and teach well. But there are some people who don't teach well. Coming to Term exams for one academic year we have 2-semester exams. It isn't difficult to pass we need to study at least 60 per cent of the syllabus to pass the exam.

The faculty in my course is good at teaching and practical knowledge. The faculty is qualified in NITs across India. The term exams are conducted every 50-60 days in the semester. The exams are easy enough for poor students to pass.
