St. Theressa Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vizanagaram was established in 1991 under Avanthi Educational Society. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognised by Government of Andhra Pradesh. The vision of the institute is to provide sophisticated engineering education, purposeful research and sound personality building to help suitable application of technology to mould young men and women into professionals. The campus is located in a sprawling area of 26 acres with a built-up area of 80,000 sft at Garividi, Cheepurupally, Vizianagaram District. It is well connected with rail and road, close to the national highway near the Chennai – Howrah tracks. It is 20kms away from Vizianagaram and about 60kms from Vizag proper.
