Remarks :
First of all to enter Manipal university Jaipur you have to clear the MIT entrance exam. There are certain cut-offs for each branch. There are no eligibility criteria for courses just you have to clear the entrance exam. You can check all the application details and fee details on the Manipal university Jaipur website. The admission process is quite simple.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose computer and communication engineering as it included both computer and also the communication part so I can choose whichever stream I like. The faculty here are very good and they reach out to us if we have any issues. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20. The exam schedule here is very flexible and also we can pass easily.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided but it's based on your skills. Many companies provide an internship with a minimum of 20000 stipends per month. You can do more projects that would be helpful to find an internship.
Placement Experience :
From the 6th semester, the placements start for the students. But most of the companies offer from the 7th semester. The top companies like Amazon, and Microsoft, all come with a high package. Every year 90% of the students get placed. The highest package is 1cr in euros and the average package is 6lpa. I plan to go for a master's after getting the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure when I joined was 280000 per year and now the fee is 324000 per year. If your 12th percentage is good, you can get the scholarship. Bank loans are also accepted. You can expect a package of 6lpa with a decent cgpa and good skills, If your skills are high then you can expect a package of 10 LPA easily.
Campus Life :
The biggest fest in Jaipur is oneiros and it's held at the university. You can find all the books in the library. They give 2 weeks to return the book. Every classroom provides AC and projectors so you feel comfortable in the class. There are many tournaments and sports activities held every month. There are many clubs which you can join and they teach the particular curriculum which they offer.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms are hostel so good, there is an option of 2 beds or 3 beds which you can choose. All are AC rooms. Study tables are also provided. The food in the mess is not so good but you can manage. There are many outlets inside the hostel where you can find good food options. The registration process is simple to get a room in the hostel but you have to be quick or else you won't get a room due to high demand. The hostel is a bit costly but you will enjoy the hostel as many activities are held inside the hostel.
