One of the reason that I choose B.tech here was that the faculty here are quite helpful in helping others in clearing the subject doubts.The placements specially for Computer Science and Engineering is quite good here. The average placement package here in this campus is 6.28 L.P.A which is quite good for the freshers.The admission in this college is based on MUOET which is conducted for admission into the B.tech course.You need to get a rank below 10000 for admissions in Computer Science branch here in Manipal University Jaipur.The main reasons for the selecting the college is the placements that you get in the field of the software field.

Remarks :

Manipal University Jaipur being comparatively a new university has grown tremendously over the past years, resulting in its good reputation among private engineering colleges. Manipal University Jaipur has modern infrastructure along with MAHE's experience of more than 60 years in educational field.

Placement Experience :

Companies like Microsoft, Dell, Accenture, Capgemini, GE, Daikin, Tata etc. are some the regular companies that visit our campus for placements every year, and mass-recruiters like capgemini recruits 300+ students every year, with decent salary package, along with a full time job contract. Companies also recruite students through PRE PLACEMNENT OFFER (PPO), as many of these companies also take good number of interns from campus. Hence, whether its job or internship, if you are good enough, you'll get it.

Ans. Both Sikkim Manipal and Manipal University Jaipur are very popular institutes and a lot of students across the country apply for admissions in these institutes. But among these two, choosing Manipal University Jaipur will be a better option especially if you're from North or Central India. Manipal University Jaipur is located in the prime city. They have an excellent faculty, hard-working and cooperative. It has a very competitive environment, which encourages students to do better. The infrastructure is also good, with a study appropriate ambiance. The labs are well equipped and well maintained. Being located in the heart of the city, it enjoys industrial exposure. Many companies participate in their placement program, as it is a preferred location. Placements are sometimes good and sometimes average. Mostly depends on the batch and their overall academic performance. Ans. I have friends from both Manipal University Jaipur and Sikkim Manipal University. Here is a brief comparison of the two institutes based on their experience. Cutoff: According to the recent cutoff trends, the closing cutoff for CSE at MUJ was 10867 while for SMIT it was 34422. It clearly indicates the difference in student crowd at these two branches. Placements: Placements at both are quite similar. However, considering the location of the colleges, MUJ will be a better option. Big MNCs like Amazon visit the MUJ campus for placements. According to the recent placement highlights the highest CTC offered at MUJ was 42 LPA while it was 24 LPA for SMIT. Infrastructure: MUJ has a much better infrastructure than SMIT. Faculty: Based on my friends’ experiences I will say the faculty at MUJ is better. However, SMIT is an older institute. MUJ was recently established and it will take some time to reach the level of the college experience that SMIT provides. A few of my friends from MUJ complain about the open book system in the examination. According to them, it is a poor way of conducting examinations in undergraduate as you will eventually need to memorize things for competitive examinations. The best choice will be to go for the main campus, i.e. MIT Karnataka. Take any branch that you are getting and you can upgrade your branch to CSE, in the second year. Ans. The answer to this question depends on the course you prefer. Thapar University Is better than Manipal University Jaipur. Thapar University is an older college than Manipal University, Jaipur. Thapar University has better faculty and a good infrastructure. However, Manipal University, Jaipur has brought in a lot of changes in the last few years and is an upcoming university. Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering: Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering is a Government college and is older than Manipal University and Nirma University. It has good faculty, a good student environment that is energetic and keeps on motivating students. There are lots of extra activities which you can join. Its fees are quite affordable. Ans. As far as Computer Science Engineering is concerned, at Manipal University, it has the second-highest placements after the Mechanical department. CSE students receive the highest package with the greatest number of offers. Many popular companies like IBM, Microsoft, Amazon are known to recruit students from the computer science engineering department. The highest package offered is about INR 42 lakhs per annum with an average package of INR 6.2 lakhs per annum.
