Eligibility for MET Rank Holders:

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 / A Level / IB or American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject.
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and optional subject, taken together at 10+2.

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admissions:

For direct admission (in branches where seats are vacant) the following candidates are eligible:

All remaining MET Rank Holders who did not participate in the counseling.

Candidates who have JEE rank and qualified JEE Advanced are also eligible.

Based on the SAT score.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and securing 60% marks in aggregate are also eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (Lateral):

For B.Tech (Lateral), candidates must have passed 3 year diploma in relevant discipline of Engineering/B.Sc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidates are selected on the basis of rank in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by counselling.

Candidates are admitted based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Faculty to student ratio is good enough, All the faculty members are highly qualified with most of them having PHDs from either IITs in India or from other prestigious foreign universities. Term Exams are taken at gaps long enough to prepare for them, if you're an average student you can easily pass the exams with great marks with just a week's study.

Manipal reality

The faculty of Manipal university Jaipur is awesome. They support you in any issue and in teaching almost clearly you get the things in the class only no need to study at hostel or pg or somewhere else. The exams are divided into 3 parts 2 midterms and 1 end term in which midterms are 20 marks each and the end term is 40. So in just one day if you study you definitely get full marks not even pass.

College Review

Computer Science is a pretty interesting course and I have been inclined in computers since my childhood so I chose it. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:30. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced most of them are PhDs from IITs and nits and many are still pursuing research. The teaching method is also good for uses of ppts and graphics is highly incorporated in the teaching, and regular assignments and quizzes are given. For the first year, the term exams are held every after30 days and the level is moderate one can easily pass just after studying from the class notes.
