Remarks :

The admission is based on Jee rank. The students will be shortlisted as per merit. There is a reservation available for children of defence personnel, green card holders and SC/ST category students. Also, the TFW category is available for students whose family income is low.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As per my rank, I got a textile engineering branch. At first, I was confused because it was a totally new concept for me. But the teachers helped us a lot. All teachers are highly qualified with M.tech degrees and PhD. Also, some teachers have studied in iit and nit. The teachers are very cooperative and helpful. Exams are held periodically. There will be two mid-semester and two semesters per year. The teachers help us study before the exam. Question papers are a bit tough but with the help of teachers, we can be ready for exams.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 32000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We are allowed to do internships as per our interests. Teachers and Hod helped us in getting internships. I did my internship at Central silk research institute, Bangalore which is associated with the government of India. Last year first minor project is done and then the major project. Faculties are always cooperative in the projects.

Placement Experience :

After completion of the 6th semester companies starts to come for placements. Top software companies like Tcs, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Deloitte etc come to hire and core companies such as Reliance, Aditya Birla Group, Century encka etc come to hire. Starting from 3lakhs the highest average package is around 10-13 lakhs per annum. In our batch, about 90% of students got placed. I got placed in TCS which I will join after completing my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is 32000 per year and for the hostel 12000 per year.CET merit scholarship is available for meritious students who opt highest cgpa in their respective branches every year. The scholarship is given to 10% of the actual strength of the class and the amount is Rs 10000. The campus availability is very good. In our batch, 90% of students got placed. Top core companies like Reliance, Aditya Birla group etc. and software companies like TCS, Accenture, and cognizant come for placements. The average package is about 3-8 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life :

Every year annual fest takes place around May- June. The library card is issued to every student ad students can avail of any book from the library. Sports like cricket, football, badminton, and basketball tournaments happen every year for boys and girls. Also, various clubs like zairza(tech development), Amuza(drama), TDA(dance), singing etc are present so that students can follow their passion for study.

Honest review about CGU

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement many companies used to come such as Amazon, cisco, pwc, tcs, wipro, cognizant, and many more companies come for campus placement. The highest package is 45 lakhs whereas the lowest pakage is 4.5 to 5lakh. more than 95 percent of students get placed. My next plan after getting the degree is to become a politician.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the start of the 7th semester. Anyone having zero backlogs is eligible to sit for placements. Around 200-250 companies from different sectors like IT, analytics, finance, and electronics visit every year. Around 900 students were placed last year from 1100 students with a record of 100% placement in the Mining And Metallurgy Department. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs from Microsoft and the average package was 11 lakhs. If in case you didn't get placements you can still try for off-campus placements in various companies. I am already selected for an internship at Qualcomm and will target PPO next year.

I am doing my bachelor's degree at this college. From school life, I loved computers and technology. So that I joined here for my brightest future. And here there are many branches and students. And the faculties are highly educated & the sem exams are computer so I improved my skill a lot in computers, and some of my teachers are too informational like you, sir/ma'am. so thank you for your good teaching which is very useful not only in the classroom but also outside helpful. And because of the much learn from campus, I want to be a faculty myself after completing my education as it is not just part-time work it's full-time work and also a lifelong goal to fulfil both teachings and learning about information technology topics. Beautiful campus with awesome people for holistic development under one roof.
