Remarks :

I got admission to BIET in 2020 through DCET, My DCET rank is 3474 and I also belong to the SC category so, I am getting a scholarship from SSP 72000Rs and the total college fees per year is 92000 so I have to pay the remaining balance. After the CET counseling process, you will get the admission order and you have to submit the admission order and they will fill out your application through the computer. SC/ST and COMEDK quotas are there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in electrical and electronics engineering so I choose this branch, my class strength is about 70 students and all the faculties are qualified in MTech and Ph.D. and faculties are well knowledge and the teaching level is also brilliant and they take care of every student. Each month we have internals (for 3 months) after 3 months we have to face semester exams, and the gap between the exams is a less and little bit difficult in exam time.

Internships Opportunities :

They provide good internships for current job offers and situations, they mainly concentrate on software programs like embedded, python, etc. and also providing the PLC and other hardware internships for core companies.

Placement Experience :

Campus selection starts from 3rd year(5th sem) students in our college, 5th sem students are eligible for attending the campus interviews. and several companies are visiting our college for campus selection with good packages and packages depending on the companies and starting package is 5Lakh offered by TCS company and 60 percent of students are getting the placements in our college. My plan is after getting the degree, I want to do MBA in a good college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the EEE branch, they collect fees from students of about 92000 per year and they take donations also. we get a scholarship from SSP of nearly 72000 Rs. (Only for SC/ST students and whoever got admission from CET or DCET). The campus is very good for placements many software companies are hiring students in our college at a massive rate with the best and better packages.

Campus Life :

In our college, a huge library is available with a good environment and also conducts fest also like Davan, Vidyut, Technical talks, etc. they also support the sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. and also conduct cricket tournaments. Our classrooms are modern with projectors with new sitting tables with a good environment.

My college life little experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course for the sake of Electronics. The teachers are good and knowledgeable where most of them have done their PhDs and the students' strength is around 60 per batch and later lateral entry students will also join.

I liked the course because I had basic knowledge in my PU and I liked the subject there, so it was easy and flexible the faculty to student ratio is about 20:200 and the teachers are well qualified to teach and they help in every manner possible the term exams are average.

Placements in our college are average. The companies like slk, rofosoft and smartsocs visited our campus. But most of the offers come from sales companies like- skill vertex, Intellipat, etc. On-campus highest package is around 7-8 LPA. But most of the students get between 2-4 LPA. The placement percentage is around 65-70%.

BMSCE - the oldest and most prestigious college of Bangalore

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent at BMSCE students get placed from the 5th semester onwards. Some companies which visit include Infosys, Intel, hp, Cisco, etc. The highest package will be 40 to 50 LPA each year and the average package is around 9lpa. In CSE the placements are almost 100% but considering all branches it's around 80%. I am planning to do a job after my degree.
