Remarks :

Students are eligible for BTech courses in this college if he/she scored a minimum of 60 per cent in Higher Secondary School and passed the cut-off of JEE Mains. He/She can take admission from its website rungta.ac.in, BTech fees are varied by their specialisation course but its maximum course fee which is CSE Core is Rs 40000/semester. Admission is opening from the mid/last week of September for the new session, Students have to pay 5000 rupees for their admission which will be managed in their Semester fees. There are 10 per cent of the seats are reserved for management quota and 20 per cent for state competitive students and 10 per cent for CUET candidates and 50 per cent for JEE candidates and 10 per cent for foreign students. There are two types of admission processes in this college 1. online and 2. Physical Round table admission. There are only three times the admission portal is opened which will be managed by Chattisgarh Swami Vivekananda University on their respective Document Verification.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the facilities of this college are of friendly behaviour and highly educated professors they teach us maximum by practical and extra curriculum activities. There are a total of 900 students who are equally divided into 12 sections for the first year and furtherly they are divided according to their course of education. There is a total of 67 faculties for 1st year of which 47 teachers are for class education and 20 for practical education. All the teachers are professors or have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience. There are two class tests held in the mid of the Syllabus and the last of the syllabus in which a minimum of 18 marks are required for passing which will also be counted in the semester examination. There is a particular viva and practical exam held after the CTs and graded according to their eligibility. In total 12 sections are furtherly distributed in 6-6 sections as named P1

Placement Experience :

Placement is quite good except for pharmacy and agriculture. For students of technical background (CS, IT, EEE, ECE) get opportunities from many MNCs like Amazon, Google, Tata, Wipro, and Cognizant with the highest package of 40 lakhs and an average package of around 6.5 lakhs. There are many such companies which visit the college at the time of placement. 85% of total strength gets placement in this college. After the fourth-semester students are eligible for campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is varied according to specialization courses but the maximum total fee for CSE Core is Rs 3,42,000 and the minimum amount is Rs 2,80,000. There are several state scholarships and category scholarships that are applied in their admission process. There is also a girls' education scholarship for girls. There are a lot of opportunities comes for internships from the IIT and NIT colleges and or from Microsoft, Google, Amazon or other companies. The average placement at this college is around 5 to 6.5 lakhs and the highest placement package is 40 lakhs. There are many startup companies are oriented from this college.

Campus Life :

There is a total of 3 blocks present here they are named A block, B block and C block in which A block is for first-year students which are fourth-floor building and B block is designed for the 2nd, 3rd and for computer lab work and C block is designed for the Pharmacy. All of the buildings are of a total of four floors and each of the blocks has a total of 75 rooms There are 17 buildings for workshops and other curriculum activities. There is a canteen, a juice corner, a Maggie point, a general store, a basketball, and volleyball court, a cricket playground, a library, a gym, a food court and a divine mess. There are a total of 7 clubs which are run by college students infinity coders club are the most popular club for coding. In this club frequently hackathons are organised and winners got a big amount. And Rubi club is the most popular club for startups. These clubs engaged the students in extra curriculum activities. In library there are more than 30000 available holy books are also present.

Hostel Facilities :

There are a total of 4 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls with a capacity of four students and two students in a room and have faculties attached bathroom, cooler and wifi connection for 24*7 hours. The quality of the food for meals is quite average, it's too oily and sometimes it's spicey too, thursday meals are special because that day Rungta college provides special dishes which are so tasty. Students can easily avail of PG and flats if they are not interested to avail of the hostel facility. The registration process is done at the time of admission because there are limited seats present for the hostel which is filled rapidly. Hostel fees are quite affordable for students it's is cheaper than outside PG or flat.

NIT RAPIUR - its not what you expect

Placement Experience:

7th semester. infosys, adobe, and Wipro are some of the leading companies that have visited and total of 649 offers were made in 2022. 57.5 lacs was the highest package offered in the IT branch in 2022. about 65% of students on average get placed in nit raipur every year. doing the job for about 2-3 years I plan on focusing on my skills in music and other things.

Honestly, I didn't choose the course, the course chose me. The student ratio is overall good for this course. All the faculties are qualified and they have their teaching ways that help the student to improve. The exams are always held timely and some subjects are easy to pass but some subjects are hard.

Placement Experience:

NIT Raipur provides wonderful placement and internship opportunities for its students. There are major placements for CSE and IT stream students. Companies like ADOBE, AMAZON, VISA, Deutsche Bank, OPTUM, ORACLE, Arcesium, DE-Shaw, Deolite, TCS, Accenture, and many others visit for both internship and placement opportunities. There is around 95% placement from CSE, IT, and Electronics streams having the highest package of around 55 lakhs and an average of around 18 lakhs. While the other branches also contribute well and stand with an average package of around 10 lakhs.

College provided placement opportunities also. About 80% of students get placed by the college. The average package of the college is about 2.5 lacs and the high till now is about 30 lacs. Many multinational companies visited colleges for a selection of students. Amazon and Byju's companies visited the college. Many students after getting a degree go for government job opportunities.
