Remarks :

I got admission to chaibasa engineering college through the process of JCECEB counselling which was based on JEE Mains marks. To get admission in this course we have to first fill out the form from the JCECEB site which requires a detail of 10th and 12th marks, JEE Mains marks and some personal information. The admission should be done at the proper timing.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the Btech course in electronics and communication because I wanted to learn about this course and electronics items. The faculties teaching in the college are helpful in nature and their teaching techniques are not so bad. We got only four months for our first term and the syllabus was also not fully completed. It was not difficult to pass but was difficult to get good marks.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement of our college is average. some of the students get off-campus placements also. The highest package may be between 6 to 10 lakhs and the average package is 3 lakhs. My plan after getting the degree is to give GATE exam and try for a government job in this field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for the free seats is affordable but it is more for payment seats compared to a free seat. For general students, there is less availability of scholarships under Jharkhand government colleges. since being a general student, I didn't get any scholarship.

Campus Life :

Life on campus is interesting. Sometimes it is fun and sometimes stressful. Two fests are celebrated in our college named tech fest named NAVKRITI and the cultural fest named ZEPHYR. There are many books available in our library related to courses in which some are helpful while some are not. In sports, Cricket tournaments are held in our college for boys. There are three clubs which are the art and photography club, the cultural and dance club and the environment club.

Hostel Facilities :

In hostel we get facilities of a room including three person withe three beds, study tables, etc. The food available in the mess are of normal quality. Every day we get diffent items in every week. For registration for hostel we have to fill registration form with hoatel fees of one year and mess fee for six months. After that we are alloted the rooms serial wise.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for every branch. ME, CSE, ECE, EE, and CE are offered by this college. VIPRO, TATA STEEL, HCL, TATA MOTORS, and MICROSOFT companies have visited our college for the placements and these companies visit every year. Most of the students are placed well in companies.

The in-campus placements are nice. students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester. The companies like TCS visited our college for placement. The highest value of placement is 4 lakhs .my first plan is to try to get into campus placement.

CHAIBASA ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in studying b.tech in computer science and engineering and learning about computer machines and their software so I opted for studying at chaibasa engineering college. In chaibasa engineering college the faculty-to-student ratio is very nice as here it's 1 teacher with over 40 students and the teacher can clarify every student's doubts and can also interact with everyone. Here the teacher is also highly qualified with having P.hd in a particular field and many have done masters from IITs. The teaching style of the teachers is fabulous and explains very complex topics very easily and tries to reach every student's doubts. during our first semester curriculum, the college took two main internal assessment exams which were what we were taught in the class and the difficulty level was moderate.

SHORT REVIEW - BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From the third year of b. Tech you can get internship offers from companies (after the 5th semester). In IT sectors companies like Google, Microsoft, and Facebook also visit. And placements in CSE and ECE are almost 100%. Overall placement is 80%. The highest package till now is 58 LPA from computer science and the average package overall is around 12-13 LPA including all the branches. After getting the degree my plan is to get placed in a good company and we'll see what to do after that.

High speed internet and internship is really great

Placement Experience:

After the third year students are getting a pre-placement offer on campus so placements for the circuital branch need no introduction it's just insane. Almost all big companies come here and also uidai(Aadhar) came on campus so it's impressive. In the circuital branch (80-90%) students are getting placed on campus. I will take a placement with no plans for further study till now.
