Remarks :

I took admission through the upcet counselling which was held under the jee mains score also some private admissions were there in my batch actually its a ratio of 85% for counselling and 15% for private admissions seats. For direct admission, you can easily go to the website www.psit.ac.in and apply for enquiry and they directly contact you and give details of the seats admission and fee structure. If you are a local from Kanpur it's preferable to visit the college physically and then apply online because it's more fast and you'll get the advantage of getting the best course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

From starting I was passionate about computer science and engineering and psit gives the best possible training on it. No doubt faculties are good in number and also experienced most of them are doctorate or pursuing doctorate. Every month there is a class test that counts as internal marks for semester exams.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 180300 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies are coming in the 6th semester and students who get placement also get internship opportunities in that company for a one-semester minimum of two months with good stipends. Also, some students crack the off-campus internship majority of students do this.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is good at psit in the last year 2022, 8 students from the 2023 batch got selected from Atlassian at the highest package of 38 lakhs. More than 200 companies came in campus placement with an average package of 4.5 lpa. From the 6th semester, companies are coming for placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure for btech is 1,80,300/- and for hostel it's 90,000/- and for bus facility it's 36,000/- annually UP scholarship is filled by the students to get the financial benefits and there is no financial aid in college.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is quite hectic in psit you'll not get any free lectures means if you are considering that you'll enjoy and do whatever you want to that's not possible in psit it's quite disciplined about studies and curriculum. There is a big central library in the college where you can get every kind of books. IGNITIA is the annual test of the college where you can enjoy participating and exploring your hidden talent. Fewer sports activities as compared to other colleges as their primary focus are on placement. Yes, there are many clubs but they are only active at the time of the annual fest.
