JNTUH Admission 2024: UG, PG, PhD, Courses, Eligibility, Application Process, Last Date To Apply
JNTUH offers its flagship program B.Tech for a duration of four years in 24 different specializations. Admission to the B.Tech program is strictly done on the basis of the merits secured by the candidates in the TS-EAMCET entrance exam followed by TS-EAMCET counseling for the final seat allotments. JNTUH charges a fee of INR 1.19 Lakhs per year for its B.Tech program.
JNTUH admission process also involves other national and state-level examinations such as GATE, TS-ICET for the program such as M.Tech and MBA respectively. The selection criteria, cutoff, dates, eligibility, and application process are discussed in the article.

B.Tech:
- Applicants must have 45% at +2 level with compulsory subjects like PCM.
- Applicants must also be Indian to be eligible to apply.
- The age must not exceed 17 years as well.
B.Tech Lateral Entry:
Students must have passed 3 year Diploma in a relevant field to be eligible.

JNTUH B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate.
- Must have studied compulsory subjects like Physics & Mathematics. Along with either Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology, etc.
- Also students who are Indians and not above the age of 21 can apply.
JNTUH B.Pharma Selection Criteria
Admission selections are based on scores obtained in TS EAMCET.
Admission Process
Students willing to appear for the Engineering exam have to pay a fee of INR 500, while SC/ST have to pay only INR 250. The following is a gist of the application and how to go about it:
- TSCHE releases the application form at www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in.
- There are 3 main steps involved in completing the TS EAMCET Application Form.
- The students must ensure that they fill the application and keep a print out of the payment receipt.

JNTUH M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in B Tech from any recognised University with minimum 60% marks are eligible to appear in the entrance examination of this course and take admission in MTech in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.
JNTUH M.Tech Selection Criteria
To get selected for admission students must qualify for either GATE or PGECET.
The division is divided into 3 categories that are:
- Regular stream: under this, the students who have qualified the GATE examination will get AICTE scholarship or stipend
- Sponsored category: under this, the student must be sponsored by the organisation where he or she is currently working and must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Non sponsored: under this, the preference is given to the students who have qualified GATE examination irrespective of the fact that there eligible for the scholarship or not.
How to Apply for GATE?
Applications for GATE are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.
Documents Required
- Scanned photograph and signature
- Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
- Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
- Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
- Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
- Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
- Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
- Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

- Students must have qualified either UGC-NET or JRF or SLET to directly appear for the interview conducted at the university.
- Those who don’t have a score in the above exams can appear for the University entrance examination. Post qualifying they will be called for PI.
How to Apply for JNTUH?
Applicants can submit the form in both the online as well as offline mode. Following are the steps to apply online:
- Download the application form available on the official website of JNTUH.
- Take a printout of the form and fill it with the details.
- Application fees can be paid through a DD along with the application.
- Students can deposit the application fees through Net Banking or Demand Draft along with the application form in the favor of ‘The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad’ or by challan in any nationalized bank.
- Upload scanned copy of the relevant documents.
- Candidates must submit an application fee of INR 200 & INR 20,000 as a registration fee by DD drawn in favour of “The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad, from any nationalized bank to the University Address.

For offline registration, the candidates must submit the fee via DD drawn in favor of “The Registrar, JNT University Hyderabad”, payable at Hyderabad, on any nationalized bank.

At the time of counseling applicants need to produce the following documents:
- TS EAMCET Rank card/ hall ticket.
- Memorandum of Marks (Inter or its equivalent).
- Proof of Date of Birth (SSC or its Equivalent Memo).
- Transfer Certificate ( T.C)
- Study Certificate from IV to Intermediate.
- Residence Certificate of father/mother for a period of 10 years.
