There are no extracurricular activities or social clubs in our college, which should be added to the college life as it is very important for making a student very interactive.
I opted for this course as I am interested in electrical core. We had to fill out a form that was there on the website for merit students under migrant quota and send it to the college officials with our important documents attached to it. Then at the day of the councelling, we all were ranked based on our 12th grade percentages and given choice to select the course according to our wish.
Whatever the branch u choose, u will be set right in software because a lot of software companies come to the drive.
I wanted to settle in ur core branches, it's a little bit hard to get over there because of fewer core placements with a lot of conditions.
Software placement will be around 98%.
I have planned my career for post-graduation.
As per technical courses, this is the college that stands first place in Telangana. Moreover, it is a government college, so the fee to be paid is very low and cost-effective. Good hostel facilities are also provided with a college attached hostel at very low prices.
Very good libraries are there in this college.
A student who is doing a bachelor of technology here will get hostel scholarship with an amount of 1500/month through pass only he belongs to the weaker section.
To be a student of this college, firstly you should get a good rank in the state exam, so that only u will be in or else u will be out.
And the atmosphere of this college will drag u to the things how actually a man should be in society because u will be exposed to freedom totally freedom so that u can adjust ur mindset which should different from inter based one.
Good bonding will be caught here, good classmates, and good friends.
U will be known to each and every one of our classes. U can turn into a good citizen too here.
It is overall best college in fees and Co curriculum activities.
This course is opted because the demand is high during that time period. The college which has good curriculum and faculties. The college has best curriculum ranked among good placement records. They use to train us in extra curriculum development and placement.
Students are eligible for the final semester to attend for interviews. My plan is to get a job in the public sector.
It is a very good university. My admission went through counseling and web options. I'm allotted to JNTUH on 13th September 2016 in the field of electronics stream and I'm very happy to get my pg degree from this college.
The college is really good people should try this college but one thing keep in mind is you please put some extra money.
Through entrance exam it was generally called as EMACT exam. this is state based engineering exam generally it was held in between may june. after qualifying the exam you have to face the counselling process. through counselling processes the have allocated the college to the students.
Ques. Which university is good, Osmania or JNTU, for engineering in Hyderabad?
● Top Answer By Sakshi Gupta on 22 Oct 21
Ans.One of my friends studied at Osmania University. According to him, Osmania University really helped him in learning engineering from scratch. Here are some reasons why it is his first choice.
Less number of colleges: Osmania, unlike other universities, does not give affiliation to any random college, thus maintaining a standard. JNTU has hundreds of colleges under its wing, due to which the newly established ones lack quality.
Fair Evaluation: Due to lesser colleges there are lesser students, which gives Osmania the advantage of evaluating exam papers precisely. Also if they are found incorrect the cost of reevaluation is less, INR 300. Whereas Reevaluation at JNTU costs INR 1000. JNTU was also infamous for its faulty correction.
Projects: JNTU has students submit a mini project in 4-1 and a major project in 4-2. Whereas Osmania does not put much pressure on the students, as they have to pitch the idea of the project in 4-1 and submit it in 4-2.
It is widely known among every student and professionals that Osmania’s degree has more value than JNTU.Read more
Ques. Can a graduate from Muffakham Jah college, CBIT, JNTU and Osmania university compare these four universities briefly considering all the facts.
● Top Answer By Sakshi Gupta on 22 Oct 21
Ans.After researching about this online, I got to know some facts. Let me share them as they might give you a clear idea about it.
Osmania and JNTU are universities offering postgraduate courses.
Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) is affiliated to Osmania University and CBIT is an autonomous college under Osmania University.
If we consider placements, all of them are very good providing students with appropriate job opportunities.
IT firms tend to visit more than core companies during placements.
A disadvantage of MJCET is that it does not provide a hostel.
JNTU, Osmania, and CBIT have proper hostel facilities.
INR 4.40 lakh
INR 5.36 lakh
Amazon, Adobe, etc.
TCS, HP, etc.
TCS, Cognizant, etc.
Wipro, Byju’s, etc.
In India, for graduation and further studies, students mostly prefer studying in a Government-funded college, as the fees are lesser than their private counterparts. Also top students secure better ranks and opt for them, making the student crowd very competitive. They also have better and more experienced faculty members.Read more
Ans.One of my friends studied in JNTU Hyderabad and she says that the college is very good when it comes to studies and placement.
It gives you great opportunities to build your career and thrive in it. The subject knowledge is crucial and is given great importance there. The curriculum is also very structured and helps students with the approach to study. Many MNCs participate in the placement drive. In the NIRF Ranking 2021, JNTU has ranked 62 along with other NITs. It will be unfair to compare two very different entities but you can choose based on your requirement. Read more
Ans.Yes, chemical engineering at JNTU is good. If you are interested in chemical engineering, then it's the best place to pursue it.
Infrastructure: The Chemical Engineering branch started at the institute only a few years ago. It does not even have a specific departmental block. It shares the block of the Metallurgical department. CE also doesn't have their own labs. Students go to other departments to do their lab work.
Placements: The first batch of Chemical Engineering graduated in 2018 and it had good core placements. Companies like Vedanta, ITC recruit Chemical Engineering students. In recent years the average CTC offered at the institute is 9 LPA.
I will advise you to only opt for Chemical Engineering if you are interested. If a student needs only the tag and brand of JNTU then choosing a chemical branch will not be a good idea. Read more
Ans.Both JNTUH and JNTU Kakinda are reputed. Both have their advantages. But if we compare the two based on infrastructural facilities, faculty, and campus placement then JNTUH is a bit better than JNTUK. However, the environment is better than that of JNTUH. Here is a brief comparison of both the institutes.
Amazon, TCS, Mathworks, etc.
Infosys, DXC Technologies, Cognizant, etc.
JNTUH will also offer better opportunities if you are considering pursuing studies abroad. But if you want a job after graduation, then either of these two institutes offers decent opportunities. Read more
