What students say about Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - [JNTUH]

Likes

  • The curriculum is very good, on par with IITs and NITs. Faculty to student ratio = 1:28.
  • Our college provides a very good internship in the final year. The faculty is very good and has a good capacity in providing internships.
  • JNTU is one of the finest state colleges in Telangana. All the best minds take admission in this college. The best companies definitely visit the college and pick up the best students.
  • College and the state government provide good scholarships and loan facilities for you to continue education without any hurdles.
  • The institute maintains excellent grounds for cricket, volleyball, basketball, lawn tennis, track, and field events.
  • Good accommodation with good food and all facilities, so we would like to stay in this hostel. We like this hostel.
  • Our college is the best college in Hyderabad, which provides the best platform for every student to improve their lives. I am having a nice and good experience.

Dislike

  • The college does not provide internships, but it recommends that you take up internships in other reputed companies or government institutes.
  • I am not into the job side. I entered into business after completing my course. Our college is provided with the least placement services, with a number of fake companies. Poor placements do not recommend the college for its poor placement services.
  • We have not opted for any scholarship for this course because our college fee is affordable and not excessively expensive.
  • I sincerely do not recommend this college for the younger generation. Please avoid such types of colleges for placements.
  • The only thing that disappointed me was the hostel. The infrastructure is very poor. Food facilities are also very poor; its just like a waste lodge.
  • The rank should not be higher to secure a seat in mechanical engineering at the universities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the course as I'm interested in the field of management services and business development services. There will be a good environment between students and staff. For every 15 students, one staff will be available to clarify the doubts.

Remarks:

Eligibility for MBA is based on degree percentage. The application forms will be available in the C block. Fee details will be given in the Examination cell in C block. Reservations will be given to the OBC and lower caste students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely there will be two semesters. finance is my course since I am a CA student I would like to go for business and finance. there will be around 300 students. Since it's a post-graduation most people choose a part-time course. coming to faculty, they will have the full fledge knowledge about business and management

Remarks:

Yeah I took icet exam, but unfortunately, I couldn't opt for this College through web options. so I have gone through the management quota. even if you go through the web process, you can avail of the benefits if you are eligible and need to clear the icet exam also. Management won't get any benefits needed to pay while amount like around 27k. management students can directly go to the college and take admissions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As to become an HR I chose this course. The teachers are able to teach excellent to the students with doubts and clarification. It is easy to pass when we listen to classes daily. The question paper will be somewhat difficult.

Remarks:

We should complete the degree with a minimum of 55%. And write the TS ICET entrance exam. In icet exam, we should have 25% for the qualification. For SC/ST it is free. The process should be improved for admission to the college.

Placement Experience:

In semester 3 we are eligible for placements. More companies are offering like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Wipro, etc. The minimum package they offer is 2,00,000 per annum. More than 60% will get college placements.

Remarks:

To join MBA we should write the TS ICET entrance exam (you should be a graduate with a degree / pursuing last semester with no backlogs to attempt it test). For SC candidates if they attempt an exam they get a seat, for others, there should be more than 25% marks. The seat allotment will be again based on caste.
