Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), a State Private University, is located in Guwahati, Assam. The University was founded on March 29, 2008, by the Salesians of Don Bosco and holds the 2(f) and 12(B) Status approvals from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India. It is approved by AICTE and also accredited by NAAC with an A grade.
ADBU offers Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in science and technology, computer studies, commerce, management, humanities, and social sciences. It is also a member of the International Association of Universities, Paris; The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. Assam Don Bosco University Ph.D. Admission
ADBU offers a doctoral program in several fields. Candidates seeking admission to the doctoral program will be admitted on the following basis:
- The candidate must have secured 55% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 in a Master’s degree.
- Selection will be based on the score of the entrance exam and personal interview.

- To secure a seat in MBA and MCA programs, the student must be a graduate of a recognized University.
- The Student must have experience of four years in the IT industry to apply for the MCA program.

Assam Don Bosco University Scholarships
Assam Don Bosco University offers the following Scholarship Schemes to encourage meritorious students to avail of the excellent academic ambiance of the University as well as to ensure equitable access to higher education for economically weaker sections of society and persons with disability. The University has made an amount of Rs 4,67 Crores available in the form of a Merit Scholarship based on the student's performance in the qualifying exam at the time of admission. The University also provides means-based scholarships to students who lack the financial means to carry on with their studies. Given below is the table highlighting the means of scholarship:
