Academic qualification:

  • The aspirants must have completed a bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Science, Social Science, Humanity, Commerce with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized Institute/ University.
  • The aspirants having a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Engineering must achieve aggregate 55% marks to appear in this entrance exam.

BRABU B.Ed Admission Criteria

Admission to the BRABU B.Ed program is based on the entrance examination conducted by the institute itself. Candidates are required to appear for the Common entrance test and score a good mark in the examination. After the CET is complete, the final selection of the candidate is done on the basis of merit obtained in the test + Bihar State Category Reservation Policy.

BRABU B.Ed Exam Pattern

BRABU B.Ed exam pattern contains Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) conducted in both Hindi and English medium. There are a total of 100 questions including all the sections. Some of the highlights of the examination are given below:

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Medium of paper: English & Hindi
  • Question Type: MCQs

  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark each with no negative marking

BRABU B.Ed FAQs

Ques. How many credits and marks are awarded to the student in the whole BRABU B.Ed program? 

Ans. The complete B.Ed course has 500 marks in total and 20 Credits. 

Further, the Marks and Credits can be divided into Theory and Practical as shown below:

  • 500 Marks ( 350 theory + 150 Practical)
  • 20 Credits (15 theory + 5 Practical)

Ques. In how many years can a candidate complete the B.Ed course at BRABU?

Ans. The duration of B.Ed the program is two years. However, the candidates are offered a maximum of four years to complete this course, and after four years, no candidate is allowed to appear in the B.Ed Exam. 

Ques. What is the medium of instruction for the B.Ed program at BRABU?

Ans. The instruction medium for distance education is both; Hindi or English, and the students are required to choose their medium of instruction. However, the study material will be provided in the Hindi medium only. 

Ques. How many assignments are there in each theory paper of the BRABU B.Ed? 

Ans. There are three assignments for which the students are required to submit in each theory paper before the fixed date. 

Ques. How many total seats are there for B.Ed. program at BRABU? 

Ans. There are a total of 500 seats, 50% for each General and reserved category.
