Established in 1995, Guru Jambheshwar University is located in the State of Haryana in the city Hisar. The University Campus stands on a land area of 372 acres amidst the lush green environment. With 18 Teaching Departments classified under 10 Faculties the University provides education to the students in the field of Technology, Pharmacy, Environmental Studies, Non-conventional Energy Sources, Mass Media and Management Studies. The University provides Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and Research Level courses including 17 courses under Distance Learning Programmes as well. The University has been recognised by the UGC and has also been accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC.

- The candidates should have passed 10+2 examinations in Science discipline in the qualifying examinations from a recognized Board/ University.
- They should have scored at least 60% marks (57% for SC candidates of Haryana) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology subjects in aggregate.
GJUST Hisar UG Selection Criteria
- The selection of candidates to the UG or Integrated courses is based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the University (50% weightage) and the marks scored by the candidates in 10+2 (50% weightage).
- In case the entrance test could not be held due to COVID-19, the score of the entrance test will be made 0 and that of the other part will be doubled.
