The Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, affiliated with the Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana offers an undergraduate course in the Faculty of Medicine. The Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery course (MBBS) is a 5 and a half year course, which includes one year of internship.

The basic eligibility criteria include passing 10+2.
The admission is done based on the results of the entrance exam (NEET) and counseling.

To be eligible for the MBBS course, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their subjects.
Furthermore, they should have qualified for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

MMU Mullana MBBS Admission Guidelines

After the result declaration of the NEET exam, candidates who have qualified have to register themselves on the Medical Counselling Committee website – https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/
Candidates interested in admissions at Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research have to register themselves under the “Deemed University” category.
Candidates are then eligible for choice filling.
Admissions to the institute are done after the counseling sessions.

The MCC does 100% of the counseling for deemed universities. The role of MCC is limited to the allotment of seats to the candidates (based on their merit and choice). This is initiated only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from the National Testing Agency.

Ques. Can I still apply to MMIMSR if I don’t qualify for NEET?

Ans. No, you can not apply to the institute if you haven’t qualified for NEET. But, you can give the exam again next year. Currently, there are no restrictions on the number of attempts for NEET.

Ques. Can I give the NEET exam if I am an NRI?

Ans. Yes, you can. In case you qualify for the exam and are called for counseling by the MCC, you will have to carry the following documents –

Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsor).
Relationship of NRI sponsor with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Duly notarized Affidavit from the sponsor that they will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate.
