Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVDU) is a deemed to be university situated primarily in Pune with campuses also in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur and Karad. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has 32 constituent units and is one of India's largest multi-disciplinary multi-campus universities.

The university invites applications to the four year undergraduate B.Tech. Programme for the academic year. The admission to the programme will be through an All India Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University.

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

  • You should have passed in qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or ICSC or equivalent with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology.
  • You should also have obtained an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in the above-mentioned subjects.
  • Candidates whose qualifying exam results (HSC exam results) are yet to be released are also eligible to appear for CET, provided that they present their HSC mark-sheet at the time of counseling.

Admission Process

B.Tech. aspirants must fulfill the basic eligibility requirements to appear for the Entrance Exam conducted by the university.
The examination will be conducted online at the designated centers.

Admission will be based on the candidate’s eligibility and also the marks obtained by him/her in the Common Entrance Test CET (Engineering) - 2021 conducted by the institute.

Those who clear the exam will make it to the merit list. The selected candidates will be required to attend the counseling and the on-the-spot admission session.

In case, two or more candidates secure the same marks in CET 2024, the inter rank of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as under:

  • First preference will be given to those who obtain higher marks in mathematics in the entrance exam.
  • Those who obtained a higher aggregate percentage of marks in HSC/equivalent examinations.
  • Those who obtained a higher score in 10th standard examinations.
  • In case, of a tie at this level, computerized random selection will be carried out.

The candidates will be required to bring the following documents (original and two xerox copies) at the time of counselling:

  • An affidavit signed by the candidate and his/her parents/guardians

The candidate is required to pay the entire amount of annual tuition fee and the other fees on the day of the counseling itself.

The candidates must fill the application form with utmost care.
Changes in the application form won’t be tolerated.

  • To register, the applicant must create their login credentials.
  • Select their course and programme.
  • Fill in their personal details.
  • Mention their previous academic qualifications.
  • Select their desired exam center.
  • Upload their scanned photograph and signature.
  • Provide their contact details.
  • Carefully read the declaration and agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Pay the registration fees of INR. 1700/- to successfully submit the form.
  • Download their Admit Card.

Any discrepancies in the statements and/or submission of incomplete form will lead to its rejection/cancellation of admission.
The photograph and the signature must be uploaded in JPG format.

It is suggested that one must take a print out of the application form and the payment slip for future reference.
The candidate’s User Id will serve as his/her enrollment number.

The candidates must carry their Admit Card along with their Identity Proof (PAN/Adhar card)

For International Students

Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI applicants have to register for the course and fill-up the form.
They will be required to send it’s hard-copy to the following address:

Reservation

The distribution of seats will be done as per the AICTE norms.

In each of the programmes:

  • 3 seats will be reserved for the SC/ST category.
  • 5 seats will be reserved for the sponsored candidates.
  • There will be no such distribution of seats in M.Tech. Nanotechnology.
  • 15% of seats will be reserved for Foreign Nationals/PIO/OCI
