The students are provided with single-occupancy rooms. Considering the fees charged the facilities in hostels are decent although they could be better. The food menu although doesn't lack variety needs improvement in terms of hygiene and quality. However, this is a review till 2017, the same might be different at the moment. Taking hostel accommodation is compulsory.
The institution is situated amidst nature on the outskirts of Cuttack. The place is secluded but beautiful and has its charms. The campus spans over 70 acres with amazing facilities for sports, with modern classrooms. However, considering its been 10 years the college is still under construction and the library building is yet to be functional even in a decade.
Our hostel provides basic facilities like a bed and a study table. We have to bring in our mosquito nets and get them fixed for the windows, Both boys and girls have a single room occupancy in the hostels. Our mess looks good and the food is above average quality just like any other hostel. There is no registration process per se for the hostel and accommodation in the university. Everyone who gets admission to the university is given accommodation in the hostel and a separate room is allocated to all of us individually.
Our college campus is located in a very serene area surrounded by nature everywhere. Our cultural fest KAIRAAN takes place every year in April and students get to showcase their talent in the fest. We also have a particular theme every year for this amazing fest conducted every year in April. The fest includes both on-stage and off-stage performances where the students get to showcase their talent in the area they are top-notch in. Sports activities are also conducted every year by the sports committee. Every committee of the university tries to bring life into the student activities and creates a holistic environment in the university.
