IIT Ropar M.Sc Admission Criteria

  • Admissions to the M.Sc program in any specialization are conducted on thebased on scored in the IIT JAM entrance test. The entrance test is conducted only through online mode. Applications for the entrance test are accepted only through online mode.
  • Only those candidates who qualify for the JAM test and whose names appear on the merit list will be able to apply for admission to Academic Programs available at IIT Ropar.

IIT Ropar MSc. Application Procedure

  • Candidates can apply for the entrance test only through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).
  • Candidates have to register by providing their name, a valid e-mail address, mobile number, and password.
  • An enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s email and mobile number. These credentials are to be used by the candidate for all the exam-related information.
  • Candidates can log in and complete their examination and form, upload the photographs, signatures, and other documents.
  • Pay the application fees through electronic payment modes. Application fee for female (all categories), SC/ST/PWD students is- INR 750 (one test paper) and INR 1050 (two test papers). For other students application fee is – INR 1500 (one test paper) and INR 2100 (two test papers).
