Dislike
- The syllabus is not according to the current syllabus of GATE. It contains subjects which are very impractical in nature. Overall, the course structure is very bad.
- The internship experience is not good. Students have to go outside for internships. This program is not provided by the college. If any student wants an internship, he/she can contact companies, but the college is not responsible for that.
- Placements are one of the weakest points of the college. Due to its remote location, accessibility is limited for prospective students. However, the college is making progress in this area.
- There are also financial aid and scholarships available for poor students, such as tuition fee waivers and funds for poor student aid.
- Sports activities are highly encouraged here; there is a dedicated section called SAC (Students Activity Centre).
- Hostels are very old, and the rooms are in poor condition as they are not painted well.
- The college rules and regulations are so strict that no one can enter or exit without an ID card. The downside is that we are not allowed to bring any food inside the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course to explore my knowledge of this. faculty are so introverted, supportive and behavioural. they are PhD graduates with a minimum of 5 yr of experience. they studied students in a well-behaving manner. no, there is no hard exam to pass
Remarks:
Eligibility for the course by an entrance test. you can find the application form on the Sliet website as well as the academic section. yes, reservation for the sc/St student. yes, there will be equal admission process tests for all the castes of students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty is very good and Faculty at Sliet is highly qualified, experienced and competent in nature. All the faculty teaching students are NET. Qualified and most of them are even Doctorates. The faculty is ever-helping and knowledgeable and is always ready to solve student queries. They take up interactive classroom sessions and also indulge in practical-based knowledge systems to make more clear understanding of the concepts.
Remarks:
Admission Criteria: I scored 94 on the AIEEE exam and I wanted to explore computers as I had a keen interest in gaming, designing and programming. It is very easy to take admission for BE or Diploma. It also does direct admissions to deserving candidates. To get admission to Sliet one shall have at least 60% or above marks in their 12th class or 10th class. One can visit the official website and can fill up the admission form or can visit the main campus to do so. After filling up the form the University officials will call up themselves if they find the application according to their criteria up to mark to give admission.

.For admission in Diploma you have a minimum 10th class pass out with a minimum of 55%. For admission in DIPLOMA lateral entry, you have to qualify 12th with a minimum of 55%. For admission in btech lateral entry, you have a diploma degree with a minimum of 55%. For admission in Btech, you have to clear jee mains. You have to fill slightly set admission form.

There are no such eligibility criteria you have to give jee entrance exam which will cost you around 1000 to 1500 depending on category also and I think the cutoff of this college will go upto 90 percentile for gen category and for a reservation it will go upto 81percentile also rank upto 2.5 lakhs if you have any reservation like SC, ST and you will get CSE branch

Sant longowal institute of engineering and technology is the best engineering college in Punjab. Which is located in Sangrur district Punjab. The college provides technical as well as non-technical education. On campus 13 hostels provide 10 boys and 3 girl hostel. A good environment is provided area.
