The students become eligible from the 5th semester for internships. The internships are provided on the basis of the percentage of the semesters of 1st and 2nd year. Almost 70 per cent of students get internships. I plan to do my internship in health psychology in gyms along with pursuing my master's degree
There was no entrance exam for the admission process but there were criteria of cut-off percentage scored in 12th standard. The application form was available offline and online both but I took admission through an offline process. I did not have any reservations in the process as I belong to the general category. The counsellors of the college were very helpful and guided me. The change that I would like to see is that the procedure should be quick as it took a lot of time during my admission process
I chose the course because I wanted to pursue BBA. The faculty was enough for all the students. The faculty is highly qualified and teach using innovative methods. The exams were held in April and November.
Class XIIth percentage above 50%, no entrance exam required. Application forms and fees can be collected from the college premises. The brochure can be downloaded from the website. The admission process should have an entrance test.
ICG's B.com(h) course was providing a variety of subjects that changed every semester and were constantly upgraded( It is what I was told ). So, I thought that it would provide me with a variety of knowledge on different aspects of business and was also told that ICG is known for its extra-curricular activities and events, so I took admission. My experience was satisfactory. 50% of the faculty is amazing, no doubt. They are renowned professors with exceptional knowledge and are very helpful. But the rest 50% are just average and below average, either they don't have enough teaching experience and fail to teach in class or their subject knowledge is not very up to the mark. The teaching method of some teachers is outdated, though some use very creative digital tools. Many focus on bookish knowledge rather than practical learning. Exams are semester based with 2 semesters per year, the difficulty level ranges from medium to difficult, if you are regular in-class exams will be easy.
The college admission process is simple, but it just requires a lot of documentation and form filling. The minimum requirement for admission is 65-70% in 12th from a recognized board. The colleges sometimes give admission at 60%. There are no GD/PI rounds for admissions. Offline counseling sessions are available with the faculties if requested. Details regarding the application form, the application fees, and the application dates are all available on the university website - ' www.iisuniv.ac.in '. If you are a local, it is advised to visit the campus once and get the details from the university reception. I would like the college to add volunteers which can guide the parents and students through the admission process, as it sometimes becomes very time-consuming as full details are not shared at once and can sometimes lead to multiple rounds to the admission office.
