Course Description

Rajasthan University offers a full-time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree which extends for about two years that is four semesters.

Candidates seeking admission into B.Ed. must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized University.

However, students are selected based on the performance in the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Entrance Test conducted every year.

Course Details

Rajasthan University B.Ed. Course Details

The course work consists of two components Part I and Part II consisting of Theory papers and practical works. With the flexible and technical curriculum, students can develop the ability of self-confidence and work independently. The best part of the program is that the students can correlate subjects to real-life situations whenever possible.

  • Part I consists of therapy papers and Part II consists of a school internship of 20 weeks.
  • Theory papers 1, 2, 3, and 7 will carry 100 marks out of which 80 marks are scored from written examination and the remaining 20 marks are awarded internally.
  • Out of 20 marks, 10 marks are scored for sessional work and the other 10 marks for the mid-term test.
  • Theory papers 4, 5, 6 will carry 50 marks out of which 35 marks are scored from written test and the remaining 15 marks are awarded internally.
  • Theory papers 7, 9, and 11 carry 100 marks out of which 80 marks are scored from written examination Part II, and the remaining 20 marks are awarded internally.
  • Out of 20 marks, 10 marks are scored for sessional work and the other 10 marks for the mid-term test.
  • Theory papers 6, 8, 10 will carry 50 marks out of which 35 marks are scored from written test and remaining 15 marks are awarded internally.
  • EPC 1 and 2 carry 50 marks out of which 35 marks are awarded from Part I examination and 15 marks are awarded internally.
  • EPC 3 consists of 100 marks out of which 50 marks are for objective and descriptive type questions and remaining 50 marks for computer practical.
  • EPC 4 consists of 50 marks out of which 35 marks are scored from Part II examination and 15 marks are awarded internally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like to do b. Ed because I want to teach children and be a teacher. More than 1500 students study in college. Hostel, classroom, water, toilet, cleanliness of all these are good in college. College exams are held once a year. There are n problems in passing the exam.
