Ques. Which college is better, JMC or DCAC for a BA programme?

● Top Answer By Neha Rani on 29 Oct 21

Ans. I have friends from both JMC and DCAC. Based on their experience, I will say DCAC is a better option.  The student crowd at the institute is diverse. Facilities at DCAC are well-experienced and helpful. It got high ratings from NAAC and India Today Magazine. The institute offers add-on certificates and diplomas in foreign language courses.  DCAC has great infrastructural facilities. There is a library with a great collection of books. There is also a gym and table tennis room on campus. The auditorium is equipped with special lights and sound effects.  DCAC campus has a basketball court, a volleyball court. DCAC is not that strict about attendance. JMC is definitely a reputed college, however, in comparison, DCAC is better.Read more

Ques. Should I do BA programme from St. Stephens or English honours from JMC?

● Top Answer By Admin on 29 Oct 21

Ans. I have friends from both St. Stephens and JMC. Here are a few of the information that I got from them.  St. Stephens is a prestigious college with its own sets of rules and code of conduct. It has a good campus. If you want to explore ideas, places and have a decent campus life then St. Stephens is a great option. JMC is an off-campus college. So, you won’t have access to campus. It is a girl’s college with strict rules.  Now coming to the courses, in English honors, you will learn about a myriad of texts from different countries and different time periods. However, you will have to spend your three years around poetry and prose. You won’t get to experience much diversity when it comes to subjects. For the BA program, however, you can choose all subjects from Social Science. There are many combinations that you can opt for.  So, I will suggest that you choose the program which will keep you interested for the next three years. College life will be similar irrespective of the institute. Also, gone are the days when students with honors degrees were treated superior to the students who pursued programs. Read more

Admission :

I applied for the school in the wake of getting the application structure and outline from the colleges gathering office. In the wake of filling the nitty gritty application structure and connecting all the important reports I submitted it. After check of the reports I was conceded the affirmation in the program. I settled on this college since it is a famous University for expressions and culture based courses in addition to since I did the confirmation course from this college prior so I thought to proceed in it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course educational plan is very much organized and characterized and is in line to satisfy the necessities of an unhitched male's level program in the space of expressive arts. Semester savvy arrangement of assessment is followed according to the course structure. Every year includes 2 semester assessments. Practicals are likewise held alongside the end semester examination just as before it. Semester assessment includes both the hypothetical and viable part.

Placement Experience :

Position savvy our college is acceptable. Since it is an administration college one can investigate situation opportunity in both the administration segment just as the private segment. Anyway situation of isn't 100% percent and understudies may need to search for positions from outside. For temporary position more often than not you need to oversee things all alone as school doesn't have a devoted entry level position structure.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fes is very nominal. They charge very less fee for the entire programme. Per year fee is less than Rs 5,000 which thus shows that the total fee for the entire programme is very feasible. We don't have headaches for fee.

Admission :

There is no entrance exam for the admission. It is purely merit-based. I strongly believe in yoga; I decided to work in the field of yoga at an early age. The admission process is straightforward; just you should have scored well before.

Placement Experience :

The placements are enough, but I cannot say and encourage the lack of a record in jobs and appointments, but you can build everything if you are very talented and experienced, but the most essential thing is how you feel and learn.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are organized in a good way to get into this college, I am very good at dance and I am very interested in it and I think it is wonderful and good, no gender or anything else. I have won awards too.

The college is huge, with six thousand students studying here. The college offers internships through interviews. There are many guest lecturers. Teachers' Day, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Freshers, and Annual Activities have been held on the college premises

Faculty :

The program fee structure is as follows: Tuition Fees: First Year 5,025 Second Year 3,840 Third Year 3,840 Total Fee 12,705 So the total fee for the program can be considered viable. This is a government college. So the fees are very low.

Shri Guru Ram Rai University was established by religious and philanthropic leader, Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji. The admission process for the colleges online offline as well. I applied for it offline. I gave a sum of rupees 500 in the registration counter of the college and fill the application form. Rupees 500 is the registration fee. For online we can download the application form from the College website. for students want to apply for MBA program they may submit the score card of MAT, CAT. We must also attach a copy of 10 + 2 mark sheets Aadhar card Xerox and passport size photograph to the application form.

Campus Life :

The college conducts various activities like NSS, NCC, karate and also conducts different seminars and conferences as well. Usually the seminars are based on gender roles, cultural societies, cultural diversity, race, religion, economic status of the country and many more. The college hosts a welcome party, i.e., freshers party for the new batch every year. Annual week is also organised every year, and they give an opportunity to the students to show their talent besides studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I am a student of BA and my fee structure every year is INR5585 which is quite feasible amount and could be paid by most of the students. A college which has so much of facilities in it does not charge much to the students. The fee structure differs from course to course. The college also provides the scholarship facility to the students who are good in their studies but sometimes fail to pay their fees due to unavoidable circumstances.
