What students say about UNIRAJ- University of Rajasthan

Likes

  • Building structure is very good , cafeteria of college is also good in space and food is best
  • Scholarship benefits are good for those students who can't afford college fee.
  • Teaching structure is also good and the class is also have a good space and accomodate to good student
  • I liked the faculties also as they were quite supportive and helpful.
  • College organised many functions every year I enjoyed all that functions.
  • I like my course , it is interesting and fundamental .
  • The most attractive thing in the university campus is the central library here is the environment of study and peace

Dislike

  • It is updated just in the area of taxation and not in other subjects. Other subjects arent updated as per the current knowledge and situation. Optional subjects are not good enough; they should be as per the requirements of the field.
  • The placement here is very bad, and there is no significant research done to improve it.
  • Good scholarship in college is possible, however, some scholarships are awarded lazily by teachers who do not put in the effort to review applications promptly.
  • Also, the reason could be that my second and third years of college were during the COVID period, so colleges were closed.
  • The hostel facility is not available, but the PG facility is provided. As needed, one has to pay 6000-8000 for the room, according to the preference of people. For AC rooms, the amount is higher, while non-AC rooms require a lesser amount.
  • The management of my college is very poor because its agenda is not for students, but for the government only.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good at BIBT. Almost all (except those who have applied for higher studies) students are placed in different departments. The salary package is quite good from 1 lakh to 6 lakh. The average package is almost 2.5 lakhs per annum.

Remarks:

Eligibility criteria are based on percentage. More than 50% if you are taking admission in masters. And Personal interview was taken by the principal and vice principal. The application form is available on the college website.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell available which helps students to grow and connect with industries and companies. Almost every student of every batch gets a placement (excluding those planning for higher studies).

Remarks:

Eligibility for admission is more than 50% marks in graduation if you are taking admission to a Master's degree, a personal interview was taken by the principal as well as the vice principal of the college. The admission process is nice they also clear all the doubts regarding the college after the interview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose MSC because I don't want to leave the science career. I want to follow science as my passion. College provides us with a highly qualified faculty for providing us with a better education and knowledge and their teaching method is very effective.

Remarks:

If you scored more than 50% in the previous year, so you are eligible for admission. You can take the application from the cash counter after paying 600 rupees and carefully fill out the form and attach all the documents and submit it. You will get notified when you are selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do research in the statistics field so I chose to do masters in statistics. The student ratio is very good here as only 30 students are selected for the course and professors are around 10 in number. All faculty members are PhD scholars in the statistics field they are either professors or assistant professors, their teaching method is good, they provide an in-depth study of the subject. Exams are based on a semester system which is conducted on a regular basis. The level of paper ranges from moderate to hard.

Remarks:

You should be a bachelor's in science having mathematics or statistics as the core subject in bachelor. The University of Rajasthan conducts entrance exams for masters in various subjects every year with minimal fees of 200. The application form is made available online around June every year and the exam for the same is conducted in August. Reservation is given to the category students including obc, EWS St, sc. Since it is an objective type of paper, I would like to suggest that it should be in cbt form rather than pen and paper.
