- The Course Curriculum is well-balanced for steady and effective learning, with the best training provided for staying onboard and shaping the best marine engineers.
- Yes, they provide internships as I did an internship at SOFT Shipyard, which is quite good for internships in Gujarat. They offer good practical knowledge and also provide a stipend of 5600 rupees, which feels good.
- The placement cell of our college is good, and placements are in accordance with the ups and downs in the naval architecture industry. Some companies conduct exams, and selected graduates have to attend an interview. Based on the performance of the interview, they will secure a placement.
- The college provides scholarships based on caste reservation. They also give a fair amount of scholarship to girl candidates who take up these courses. In addition to this, a reward is given for the best performance in the semester exams.
- My college is situated in Chennai. The playground is not that good, but it is still okay. You will have access to facilities for indoor games such as table tennis, badminton, etc. Additionally, there is a swimming pool and a gym.
- The meals and snacks are pretty much good for a hostel. I would give it an 8/10.
- A very good college to learn, but there wont be college time entertainment, only good placement.
Dislike
- As of now, the placement record is very bad for BTech (me) in the Chennai campus as it has just started.
- As long as I was studying in college, there was no scholarship or loan facility provided by the college. However, the Shipping Corporation of India had provided a scholarship of 48000/- for students below the poverty line, which I have availed twice.
- There are no special restrictions on the girls, except that they have to report to the hostels earlier for security reasons. This rule applies to both girls and boys.
- Poor infrastructure, as its very old. Buildings are made in the 1950s. Poor maintenance, as the semi-government workers dont perform their work properly. There are no canteen facilities. Large grass used to grow in June/July, so there are no sports in those months.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Faculty are very qualified enough to make us understand the curriculum and practicals. Instructors are qualified to make us understand how to work in workshops efficiently with all safety practices and give practical exams every semester
Remarks:
A minimum of 60% is required in the 12th and IMUCET should be given depending on the rank of IMUCET the colleges will be allotted. I have selected HIMT as it has the best facilities at affordable fees and I have never regretted my decision.
Placement Experience:
The placement opportunities are very good in the college with a number of companies like Mole, molta, fleet, east away, PIL, etc., coming in and taking cadets. There is a current placement rate of 90% in the college for b. Tech is expected to rise in the future.
Remarks:
We have to clear the IMU-CET entrance exam and have the name on the merit list and then we can opt for him. A JMU cet rank is a must for admission. After your JMU rank, there will be a P.I. round followed by medicals and if you clear all these stages you are through into the institute.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My passion makes me join this course. The ratio of faculty was 1:3 with students. All faculty persons are we knowledge and saved in ships for a long and teaching was too good. The term was yearly 2 times it's difficult to pass sometimes.
Remarks:
We should have above 65%in class 12th in all mathematics, physics, chemistry, and English. If found this application and application fees and application date on the DG website and IMU portal and sometimes On the Internet website of Marchant Navy. In this application course, you don't have any reservations about the benefits of the Merchant Navy. The admission process was good because everything was online.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course to fulfill my father's dream and want to break the chain of poverty in my family and this course is too good for adventuring and enjoying our life. Facilities are very good at communicating with students they teach according to the situations that are happening in their life, they teach practically not Theoretically. Qualifications of the facility are chief officers and 2nd officers and the captain will deal with the academics. Teaching methods are too good. Exams are a bit of stress but from the begging, no one will study but in the end, everyone will study to get good marks. Nothing is difficult until you work on yourself.
Remarks:
The admission process is to first have to apply for the IMU CET entrance exam, if we are Coalified in that then we can take part in the admission process. Application is available online, Eligibility for this course is to secure 50percentage in PCM in class 12th and there are no reservation benefits, The admission process is going better now.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I like traveling in ships And adventure life and it's my passion. The faculty ratio was 1:4 with students. Everyone is We knowledge and has sailing experience with huge knowledge. There are 2 times for the year and its too difficult to pass.
Remarks:
Both 12th and diploma holder cab eligible with 65%. If on Google And IMU website this application form and There is no reservations in this course. No Need to change any improvement because online was too good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very good and I need to be proud of being a mariner coming to faculties and teaching staff is good as we are lucky to say that they are well-experienced teaching staff and have good knowledge.
Remarks:
For getting admission to a marine college we need to write a common entrance test that is imu cet ( Indian maritime University). after getting ranked in imu cet we want to choose our course then they will proceed further process according to the college rules and regulations. And there will be a good response after getting admission to this college ( Coimbatore Marine College).
Placement Experience:
Placement is a very good maximum of cadets get Placement. Good company come to the college. Company live tk tankers, chevron, Scorpio visit for Placement. 80-90% get placed in every batch. Placement starts from 2nd yr
Remarks:
Firstly there was an entrance exam in which you should have scored min 50%. After that, you have to give an interview. After the interview, if you are selected you have to go for medical. All the admission processes and applications are provided on the college website. all the process, education and infrastructure is best on campus.
Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester onwards the students are eligible for campus placements and companies like dockendale, MSC, pill, etc will be taking the interview in this college. One student can attend an interview twice or thrice till he gets the placement. 50%of students from the class will get placed.
Remarks:
There will be an IMUCET exam, it should be qualified to get a seat in the Btech marine engineering. In 12th physics, maths, and chemistry subjects percentage should be more than 60%. Medically should fit in all aspects like eyesight, without fractures, or colour blindness. On the IMU official website, the application form will be available and the application fee will be 1000 rupees for IMU-CET. The application dates will be provided on the website itself. Reservation benefits are available in the case of the ranking system of the IMUCET exam. The admission process is very complicated and it is difficult to get admission to a reputed college and we have to choose the residential course and we have to stay in the hostel only. As of now admission process is going in a very well-mannered and in secure way. No other improvements are required.
Placement Experience:
From the 7 semesters, they will start the placement and those who all have High marks with the proper knowledge will select campuses like dockand Dale, Phil, and mse. and etc. there are 1offer per person high package was 10lkand average package was 5.5lk. They are 50%of placements. I will go to a company with the proper resume I will go

Diploma in the mechanical lateral entry. We can find online for admission and the fee was 10000and dates are yearly at time of August and October will hold. it no reservations about this course. yes before you should check it while application doing.
